My only push back to Tavis is that the crowd at the NABJ was reacting to him blatantly lying and being borderline disrespectful; as bad as it looked, I doubt Barack wouldn't have gotten up there and acted like that. And Tavis forgets that Barack was heckled at his own State of The Union in front of the country and handled it professionally.

@@billycarter1798 - Lol, no he did not. The woman went after Trump and Trump responded. This Trump derangement stuff is pure nonsense. Trump is just a Republican and he is not the worst Republican by far. You have Republicans like Lindsey Graham and Rick Scott who want to "sunset social security" (putting 50 million seniors out on the street) after they advocated for sending 500 billion dollars to Ukraine. Lindsey Graham actually helped orchestrate the war in Ukraine, directing Ukraine to take actions that would lure the Russians into the Donbas region. And he's also calling for Iran to be nuked, which would cause World War 3 or a world food crisis (depending on which kind of nukes they use). And you are complaining because you don't like Trump's word choice? You are easily manipulated. The dominant society hates Trump because he's not very good at maintaining the US Empire and war machine.

To all black people. As a black man, I want to say. An American president is the president of the country. Not president for only black people. Why does a black president have to say they're black? It's the dumbest thing I hear my black friends say. As an American black, I benefited from several policies Obama started or helped to push. From Charter schools to restructuring my mortgage at a lower rate after the banks ripped me off. Not to mention the health insurance I got with a pre-existing condition. We take that for granted now, but it wasn't easy before Obama care.

Kamala Harris mother is 100% East Indian of the Broman cast. Kamala Harris Father is 50% East Indian-Broman and 50% White-Irish. She is not Black. Just because you went to Howard, doesn't make you Black. Being a member of a Black sorority doesn't make you Black. Based on what her parents say they are and when the math is done, Kamala Harris is 75% Broman Indian and 25% White. Just because she has Black female swag doesn't make her Black. Just because her father lived/lives in Jamaica doesn't make him black by ethnicity, it makes him Jamaican by nationality. That aside, Kamala said she wasn't going to do anything exclusively for Black-Americans. But she championed an executive legislation that gave East-Indians and Oriential Asian U.S. Government contracts totally %26.6. Billion Dollars. She didn't do that for Black Americans. She married a Jewish man and adopted his Jewish children. Tavis and everyone else, please stop covering your eyes to factual and documented information and tell the whole story.

We- also- needed these journalists to speak about Trump's policies on Black Americans. Remember she IS ALREADY in office and just trying to get a raise. She is applying for the job of President but trying to slip pass the interview stage. As trained Journalists- we shouldn't allow this to happen out of personal disdain nor affinity for either candidate. I care about our Freedmen people and the policies that will effect us.

To boost his ego, his people tell him he’s made some in roads so that why he was there but he will ALWAYS resort to his political, senile instincts. Most people here are pivoting towards Kamala when she really had little to do with this segment and that’s the worst part-we denigrate ourselves to act like only the person in the mirror can represent this culture!

@@billycarter1798 - That doesn't detract from my point. The NABJ embarrassed themselves. No amount of Trump derangement syndrome nonsense is going to change that. Trump was a better Republican president than George W. Bush was. Bush destroyed black wealth with his intentional subprime lending scam. All Republicans are bad, don't just make it about Trump.
