Welcome to Hossain Chef! In this video, we'll show you how to make a delicious and spicy Tawa Chicken Gravy in just a few simple steps. This flavorful chicken dish is cooked on a flat griddle (tawa) to give it a unique, rich taste that’s perfect for serving with naan, roti, or rice.
Instructions:
Heat oil on the tawa and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the pureed tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook until the oil separates.
Add green chilies, salt, and a little water to make a gravy consistency.
Cover and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and enjoy with naan or rice!
