TAWA PULAO MAKING | Roadside Cooking Skills | Indian Street Food

Tawa pulao is a very common street food from Mumbai which is made on a large tawa, a griddle. This quick rice and vegetable stir fry is really popular on the streets of Mumbai. It makes a quick filling meal and the best part is that you can use whatever veggies you feel like eating! It is known as tawa pulao because of the huge griddle called tawa on which it is cooked. I gotta stop watching these videos, its making me regret going to china instead of india a second time even more. Went to china with my dogs (2 tibetan mastiffs and 1 russian caucasian shepherd) thought my mastiffs would help me blend in, it was the opposite. Got threatened, heckled and told i stole their culture, street vendors were extremely rude, so i left after staying for 11 days out of what was supposed to be 3 weeks. In india people love my dogs, always wanting pictures, one time i got some pav bhaji and my dogs were drooling and the vendor asked if he could give them each a serving, i said ok, he gave them each a serving and said "better they eat the pav bhaji than eat me" LOL. Love the food, Love the people, keep making these videos.

Its just a sharpened saw blade. This saw blade used by plumbers or carpenters. Food vendors just sharpen it from one side and attach a wood handle to it. You will find it on every hotel and food stall in india 😀
