Tax money is YOUR hard earned money that you worked for ALL year round. And when its time for that person to collect whats theirs, then their shouldnt be a delay. Especially not 10 weeks. 💯

Hoping we have the same situation. Ours was accepted march 28th, seen one bar for a few days then it went to TT152. We filed jointly and when I enter my SS number I see the TT152, but when my husbands is entered it doesn’t have the TT but it does have the same message. Hoping we see something soon!

Fantastic way to calm my heart. I am GRATEFUL. Bars gone after about 35ish days ..amount gone (adjustments for turbotax and husband owes VA $90- yes ninety bucks lol ) and tt152 back , baybay. Heck ya. But check it. Got my plus up two Saturdays ago...had one of my family mem names attached w mine. My CHIMEMR BANK sent $1400 back to the irs. I'm so happy now that I know what 152 coming back means. You rock!!!!

Filed and accepted on Feb 13th. Status is tax topic 152. Filed with turbo tax and line 30 was filled in somehow which is the rebate refund I believe. That is a error per I received all my stimulus. Haven't called yet because I know everyone is getting the same info. Never waited this long and I'm sure like everyone else this money is very needed

Mine started off with filed and received 2-15 with one bar and the 152 code. A couple days later the bars disappeared. Then a week later it updated to still processing and 152 code disappearing. Then my amount shows up on left of screen and the sorry, but your return is taking longer than the normal processing time.

If your return just says "still processing...." then the IRS is likely has not reviewed your return yet. The generic response is to give the IRS up to 10 weeks from the date your return was accepted. So if you filed on day 1, you’d be looking at end of April, best case scenario. Still waiting to see if that's true.

I had Tax Topic 152 for weeks, my husbands did not, we Filed joint, accepted Feb 13th. Today we woke up to both saying Approved DDD for April 21st. We were on Quality Review when I called April 7th. Our CPA at H&R block did not enter that we recieved our 2nd stimulus in the mail when we told her Feb 3rd. She obviously didn't and that delayed us into Quality Review. It says the IRS will be sending a letter April 19th & Refund April 21st. I pray everyone else gets theirs sooner than later. 🙏

The bars have always disappeared. Generally when they come back they come back with a date fir your refund. Or that's been my experience.

I efiled it was accepted according to the notification. There was the red bar with 152 but then the next week red bars where gone and no topic number. It simply says your return is being processed. A refund date will be giving when available. It’s been 2 months or 8 weeks now. I spoke with an agent he simply said yes it’s here... meaning they recd it but it haven’t been processed. The Irs agent stated there’s a backlog from 2019 and now 2020 plus working on the stimulus . To keep checking the where’s my refund which I “could be a blessing and curse”. The IRS agent said. I haven’t received no correspondence from them or anything. I don’t owe them. I even checked for my transcript there’s nothing there. I give up bc I realize there truly nothing I can do but wait. Free money is cool but I would like to have the money I had to show up for and deal with people and their low vibration and absurd management style.. I digress 😒

So I just got off the phone with the IRS with also the issue of Tax topic 152 only no msg.. took about an hour this morning and was told I had a Mence error due to child tax credit. We received 3 payments of the monthly child tax credit and they just stopped... (2021) out refund was deducted the 900 and a new refund amount was provided now another 21 days.. The year before I was hit with verify my identity. Set up an appointment in an Indiana office to verify.. (took till May to find this one out). Seven previous filing years NEVER NO PROBLEM.. Always call if you can!

Hey guys if your trying to get to a IRS rep and actually speak with someone do the following .. call , 1800-829-1040. Once you’ve selected the language either English or Spanish . Press option #2 , for personal tax , then option #1 for tax history , next option #3 for more questions then #2 for more questions . It will ask for you social twice do not enter anything . You will then be give another option . you will then press #2 for individual tax and the option #4 for more inquiries and you should be placed on hold to speak with a rep . If you don’t get through try this system again you will definitely get someone.

I filed at the end of March and my refund was received on April 1, bars disappeared after about 2 weeks and have been gone ever since. It’s now mid May and I’m still in the same boat no updates no letters it just says 152 witch is good I guess but a little bit of information would be nice..... the irs was able to send out a freshly approved stimulus to most Americans ( including people that never filed taxes before or that were not required to file ) but they don’t have the ability to do the thing that they’ve been doing since their inspection? How were they not prepared? I would have much rather got my refund 1st and wait on my stimulus.....

When I did my taxes the next day it did say rejected because the wrong AGI number was put in but my friend who did it corrected it and then they accepted it and then they sent me another message saying accepted but a few days later it didn't show no bars got me panicking and I checked all the time and still showing no bars as saying your refund is being still processed and a tax refund date will be shown when available it's driving me crazy but thanks for the information that makes me feel at ease cuz it does say 152

I don't have 152 or 161 or none of the numbers mine all the bars are full and it was accepted into my bank but I never received it I already called my bank and they said they don't see no tracks of anything of income tax coming in so am I supposed to be direct deposit and I filed early February

Hey Shawn! I processed my return on 2/3 accepted on the same day. Updated to refund received tax topic 152 and I haven’t seen a update yet. On the transcripts it still show n/a as if I haven’t filed a return at all and in the main page it still gives me information to prepare to file. Anything on this?

I don't know if you can answer me about my case..I got LEGALLY married last year with a illegal alien which I had to request a ITIN number, my spouse already got the ITIN NUMBER, I got my state taxes but all I see topic 152. This is the message "Refund Status Results "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." I sent it on paper because I have to send the ITIN request all together with the taxes. Can someone explain.

Does seeing "Tax Topic 152" mean that you are getting just a refund or does it mean that you are getting the refund you saw when you filed?

My status said 152 but it does not anymore. It only says still processing. I filed March 19th was told I would have my direct deposit by April 9th. Around April 9th is when I saw topic 152 but it went away soon after and has not had any progress or topics since then. Is this still good or is this bad news that it isn’t there anymore? It’s been close to 12 weeks since I filed. I do claim my sons stimulus checks that we did not receive in 2020
