i consider myself not a fussy eater but i always throw away the duck head and neck and legs whenever i buy the whole roast duck haha. dun eat chicken buttocks as well. fine with chicken, duck and pork innards but i kinda reject cow lungs even though i ok with tripe

i got a wierd/stupid question... does it matter if u ordered in mandarin or in english? cuz i noticed that gladys ordered everything in mandarin.. like r u doing it to be respectful as a mandarin speaker or ur doing it to get quality/more food? is that even a thing in hawkers?

For me, I just assume the hawkers are more comfortable in Mandarin, so I always order in Mandarin. But actually, some of them actually do speak basic English 😊
