If its not raining and road is open at locations nearer to kohima like Dzüdza and old KMC site etc , best and shortest route will be taking Old Chumu to New Chumu route.

For taxi fare between Kohima and Dimapur you better contact the ANTA Kohima headquarter or the line masters at ISBT or else you will create confusion to the public. ₹ 700/- is reasonable as far as the road condition in both route(Nuiland & Jalukie).
