i love how calming this game looks.and the way how realistic this game is. like the graphics and the roads. (like the roundabouts) i've always liked these driving games.

Thank you for sharing. I have it for the PC and the only issue is the stutter. Wheel works fine, I don't get read ended anymore since using the parking brake while stopped. (temp fix until they get to it). If they fix everything for all the platforms then I would consider future games when they release. But if they are going to dump this game, they are going to lose a very large player base for future sales.

Glad to know I'm not the only PC player with persistent stutter. I've tried it on two different PCs with the same occasional freezes. I agree, it's rotten when developers stop supporting a game and quickly move on. Taxi Life has so many possibilities for expanded content; I hope they stick with it for a while.

@@BuckeyeBunny me too. I find it very relaxing and fun. I do try and dodge the pedestrians, rarely stopping for them lol. Hopefully they will follow through. Keep up the awesome videos. The Brew Barons is a cool game on Steam you would like.

@@BuckeyeBunny you do follow a story, but how you go about obtaining the various items and engaging in combat is completely up to you including taking contracts. I was thinking the same thing when I bought it but you have a lot of freedom.

i bought this game and agree with everything you have said i use a logi g920 it does work but i do end up fighting the steering wheel for control it wants to steer itself and its tiring , Ai are demented but if all the issues are fixed it will be a classic

They just posted a new message today saying they DO have plans to fix the bugs first, possibly add more wheels as they are able, and then add new vehicles and other content. We shall see if they come through.

I see that Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels are supported (see full compatibility list link in video description), but I have not personally used a wheel with this game.

They just rolled out patch/update #4 of 5 early August, so while nothing HUGE has been added like new map areas, they've done a lot of steering wheel and Ai tweaks and added more customization and quality of life features.

Love the game, however I feel they should enlarge the map or at least release some updates (packs) of the game to have a map enlarged or even a different city. Would love to play in different cities…

I agree. I've since moved on to other games because there have been patches and DLCs but no major content expansions just yet.

There should be a GPS map on the lower left of your screen. If not, I'm guessing it's a bug. I know in today's notes the devs posted, they mentioned knowing they have work to do on the PS game version. :(

The car moving forward after you stop and let go of the break is realistic.

I know...but the brake is also reverse (at least on controller), so if you don't hold it down the first time you slow down, if you press it again, you rear-end whatever is behind you.

@@BuckeyeBunnyshttering and frame drops on pc. 7700k, rtx3080, 16gb ram, ssd... and many other small things not good. My g25 wheel supported. After the patch come out and players are happy for it , I will buy again.

use the god damn handbrake. just like real life if you are on a hill or something. but great video outside of that

Yep, been using the brakes and handbrake, but the problem is the car suddenly decides to roll forwards or backwards, and pressing brake again can send you smashing into something as it's the same button as reverse on controller. Using the handbrake at every stop is not fun. It was just my (and other reviewers') opinions I was touching on, feel free to disagree.
