@@chads9463 You know what though? In the new era of the transfer portal, it's not the same team from year to year. A team could have a terrible year, and then make the playoffs the next year with totally different players. You just never know these days. Before the portal, if a team sucked, it might be a few year rebuild... not anymore.

@Michael-jw6et you had the portal last year and everyone jumped into it. Arkansas has nothing to offer kids, plus the recruiting is horrible. You come to Arkansas to get on the field and then transfer, that's what these kids are doing. At Arkansas you can't compete big names schools with all the 4 stars and 5 stars and Arkansas is mainly recruiting 3 stars and finding players from greenwood...doesn't work

What's cool about Boise is they will never wear blue on the blue when they play Colorado state. CSU was the only school in the MTN West that didn't openly complain about it being an advantage. As a response I have noticed CSU doesn't wear all green at home vs Boise

Two interesting points about McAlister actually: 1) he was also only a redshirt freshman last year 2) he only had 11 catches on the year, but almost all of them were for big plays, which is why he's in this tape so often

Fair question, you really think KJ was that good though? He qont last in the pros at all, and my opinion he was mediocre at best. Arkansas could have had way more talent than him, but again that goes back to my recruiting thoughts earlier in the comments

@@chads9463he put up the numbers he did because of the way Briles schemed the offense around him in my opinion. Less complicated, let him be a natural gamer, etc. He seemed to invite contact a lot less this season, tried to be a more traditional QB. The Florida game was an outlier. Dont think he has a whole lot of NFL potential unfortunately

NIL is gonna cause alot of QB's to stay in the college level for the max 5 years would rather start and make millions off NIL then make the league minimum and be a backup only 32 teams and rules causing QB's to play past 40 Although the young talent will cause older big name QB's to potentially retire early or be relegated to a backup role eventually

Update 12/5/23 TG threw at a 57% completion rate this year with at least 50% of the passes being bubble passes. He is an unbelievable athlete but regressed as a passer. He has next-level talent as an athlete, not as a passer.
