Yes. otherwise that white piece on the faceplate can get stuck.

Make sure to lubricate the inside of the white piece on the faceplate!

Is the drum repair if there is a Freon leak in it I am not a 100% it’s leaking from there but my detector goes crazy by the top I will isolate it for sure, but just wondering if there is a fix for the barrel if it has a freon Leak there I have 340-12 margarita machine

If you can find the leak it can be repaired but it is a very labor intensive, and typically expensive repair.

Why would my machine shut off every couple of minutes?

beater overload most likely. Is your machine rejecting a good amount of heat or freezing down product in a reasonable time frame? anything under 9 min is fine. I would start with a tune up kit. (blades, seals, o-rings etc) is your product over freezing? is your power source consistent and good?

It could also be if it's frequently used and it's constantly freezing the product or will freeze up the product on the beater assembly and put undue stress causing the machine to kick out so it has time to cool down if you find that this is happening you can do 2 things you can reset the machine by pushing the reset button on the face of the machine or what I do is empty the machine of the product and take it apart and you will see the build up on the blades so just clean of the frozen product then reassemble the machine fill up with product and your good to go

Take the back off and either but a belt from Napa and or buy from Taylor. Then switch it out. It isn’t hard.
