This is the kind of demo of this guitar i was looking for. Nice to hear it played like a classical guitar

Fantastic. Just bought one today for an upgrade to my beginner classical guitar. Good to hear a tarrega on it. Gracias

Very nice performance. "Lagrima" translates to "teardrops". Tarrega was on a lengthy tour, (since they didn't have recording sales) to provide for his family. Missing his children, he wrote this piece for them.

I love mine. Thumbpicking sounds great on it. Very percussive on the 2 and 4.

Beautifully played...Sweet rich tone from the Taylor... Something I have always wanted to play is classical guitar but it has gotten too late now.. Enjoyed this immensely

Very nice! Exactly why I want to pick up a Taylor nylon. I own some wonderful steel string Martins, Guild, Yamaha, and also a Taylor. I didn't want to break the bank on a nylon but to finish my next album, I want that sound just as you played. Thank you for sharing!

hI! I need to know how Academy 12eN compares with the 212ceN. I can see different woods and preamp. It worth the difference of cost? And what is the difference in sound? I have 1 classical guitar and 1 flamenco spanish handmade guitar, but I need some with preamp..

Can I ask how the action was on this guitar from the factory please? Being a hybrid is it low like a steel string acoustic or high like a classical please? Thanks

Parts of this sounds like Little Martha by Duane Allman, I wonder if this inspired him? Great playing my friend and great piece!

I believe Black Bird was inspired by this as well

True story. Jimi Hendrix taught that to Duane in a dream. I cant remember the details of the dream bur i rec looking up the story. When he woke he got the tune down on the guitar. This is from the Allman Biogrophy Book.

Can you play it again on a Ramirez A1? The Taylor sounds like it’s heavily built with a neck block construction
@shane61474 жыл бұрын
I didn't know Ramirez made an 'A1' .... But if the Taylor doesn't sound as nice as the 'A1' I would guess it's because it's a manufactured beginner level guitar ar 1/10th the price.... Assuming the 'A1' is on par with Ramirez 1A.

Wonderfully played on a superb sounding instrument! Brand of strings please?
@NicolasHosford4 жыл бұрын
Hi Craig, the strings are whatever Taylor strings it with when they ship the guitar. I did lightly file the bass strings with a nail file so that they are smoother sounding and feeling. Cheers.

nice and now I wonder how flamenco would sound on this guitar ...
@Materva-hv6sz Жыл бұрын
not great i dont think...classical, jazz, bossa nova country and fingerstyle all yes, but flamenco really needs a proper flamenco guitar to handle the strums. i dont know if youre still interested in flamenco, but the yamaha flamenco is a great place to start

No appreciation. There will always be at least one!

Yes, it sounds like it doesn’t have any bass. Probably changing the nut to bone will bring back the bass and cut on some of the highs.
