OMG she is awesome she is like a female version of Barry White! That voice is so soulful and the energy and the dancing and all the amazing feelings she gives you while she is singing that song is unbelievable! I wish we could have those days back music back then was so amazing soulful so fun hell she was even doing the bump in that song that's what that dance was I remember those days and she can dance and sings with her backup singers and they are amazing too! Glad I saw this I have a couple of her CDs with that song on it I loved Taylor Dayne the first time I heard her! Her voice sounded black and I thought she was black but when I saw her CD and what I was looking for I could not believe what I was looking at she has such a soulful voice and also a very beautiful lady very sexy! Keep on with that sexy voice of yours Taylor! 👍❤️

Some white people can sing, some black people can sing. Some white people can't sing, some black people can't sing - Sean / Shaun Wallace (off The Chase, for example). Taylor Dayne has an exceptional voice and a lot of soul. There are genetically influenced reasons that can give people greater lung & throat power & facial structure that provides extra resonance that may explain more commonly greater & stronger soulful voices more commonly in more black and mixed race people than white but not wholly. At the end of the day, it really is an individual thing.
