It's always an upset if a higher ranked seed at a tournament is beaten, especially top 10. But Fritz is ranked 11 so you're right it's not a real upset.

@@dinkydoodle8325 I know it's subjective but every media release is going to call it an upset just because it's a top 10 seed. People were calling it an "upset" when Dimitrov took out Rublev and they're both in the top 10 with a 3 rank difference.
