He was such a powerhouse drummer and such an influence on so many young drummers.
I remember seeing Taylor play his first solo gig on 2006 in LA at the Viper Room. I also got to see him play a couple of times with the Foo Fighters.
Here is a tribute of a bunch of interviews, rare footage and some classic #foofighters live clips.
Here at #pocketpercussion we want #drummertaylorhawkins memory to live on and for our KZbinrs, drummers, students and fans to enjoy and remember what an amazing legacy he has left on the drumming community and music world.

Strange thing happened that day, I was listening to Alanis on my Media Player, (shuffle) and when the song was running I for some reason thought "That's Taylor on the Drums". Then I saw a few hours later he had passed. Too Bad, a exact contemporary of me, way too young to go. †

He was her "touring drummer". I see no mention in any TH narrative where he appeared on her studio recordings, altho he was in a couple of her videos. So, unless it was a 'live' recording, it probably wasn't Taylor.

@@lynnwright3993 yeap, you are right, so it's even stranger, I always thought it was the Chilli Peppers and Taylor on that album. I looked it up and he was in Alanis's touring band for two year's.
