I understand what you're trying to say Luke and I love you for being willing to give the interviewer the benefit of the doubt, but this is just standard questions/comments for women in the industry, especially someone like Taylor who writes a lot about her exes and relationships. It's their job so you can't really fault the individual (unless it's Ellen which I talk about later), it's more the industry and Hollywood as a whole. A lot of these talk show hosts and "journalists" are so obsessed with celebrities' love lives that they talk more about that than their work. The clips in this video is from 2019 during Lover and before that Taylor hadn't been on the show for like 5 years (and everyone was surprised she came back after such a long time). Taylor and Ellen did have some great moments though and my favourite, which I recommend, is her and Zac Efron when they were promoting their movie The Lorax, an animated musical (though interestingly Taylor didn't sing in it or have a song on the soundtrack). They even sang and changed up the lyrics to Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People (which is actually a super dark song about school shootings), calling Ellen out on her bullshit in the nicest way possible because she had been suggesting (and hassling them) they were dating, which they weren't.
