They should have let him do martial arts in The Twilight Saga. Less love triangle, more wolf martial arts parkour action. Even though Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are really talented, serious actors, Taylor’s acting was the most nuanced and natural in those movies, and he did the best with the bad dialogue. But, because he was shirtless most of the time he wasn’t taken as seriously, I guess. I am rooting for him to get all the success he wants.

I think it’s because he was the main lead & more attention on him hence Taylor wasn’t thought about. But I preferred Taylor ls acting & looks. I thought Taylor was more of a natural actor, but yes having him do more martial arts would have been great. A wolf that could do martial arts 🤣

I don’t find it necessary to raise one actor up by diminishing the attributes of another. I think both Taylor and Robert are extremely talented. I think Taylor received a disservice from the media post Twilight and it’s a real pleasure to see him, seemingly well, and being valued for his many talents.

When Andy left Cuckoo hubby and I were doubtful about survival of the show and whether Taylor could do well in UK comedy but he was so hilarious! So funny and endearing he really had such great chemistry with Greg Davies and the rest of the cast. We were so thrown when he left. We hope to see Taylor in British comedy again he was so brilliant. I loved ‘abduction’ . I often wonder if his management got greedy more that Taylor when he was offered stuff after Twighlight. Taylor doesn’t strike me as greedy at all. Anytime I’ve seen him in interviews he’s very humble and down to earth! I truly hope he makes it as he has talent and the looks and the martial arts so he is the full package!

I remember being a kid and watching Shark boy and lava girl. How I loved that movie and always wanted A 2nd movie to it. And they made The movie, We Can Be Heroes And Taylor Lautner wasn't even Shark Boy Again for maybe 1 last time. But they got the Original Lava Girl (Taylor Dooley) to be in it.

a) the muscular thing - he prob only got offered low end Action Movie partd & not starring roles bc the more Established Action stars got those - but b) even though Taylor has Dutch, French & German Ancestry - a lot of U S Directors will see him as "part Native American" (& I bet mostly that!) & these jokers are usually extremely rac**t that way, they "don't like" what some term"Ethnic" movie stars in the U S - go figure! The U S is that way in many respects - it's very very different here in the UK re race🙏💜🇬🇧💜

I remember reading something similar happening to the Jackson 5 in M.J.'s biography when they were famous. They just wanted to look at clothes at a store and their crazy, screaming fans barged through the door and just started pulling at them, their clothes, their hair. Those poor boys did not get a moment of peace in public because of the paparazzi and the fans and that's part of the reason why they couldn't have a normal childhood outside of their music careers.
