When it comes to Jim leaving, Really?? What makes California attractive or DC area, or Chicago or anywhere beside AA? I think he means overall. Michigan isn’t defined by football, it’s prestigious via finance, medical, engineering, theatre… it’s an academic school with one of the largest public endowments after A&M and Texas. They have one of the largest living alumni base. Alabama isn’t on the same level overall.
