Lovely!!! I use metaphors to unlock ideas about teaching and learning in my teacher training program for graduate students. This will be a wonderful way to get them going. THANK YOU! I did this with my Yr10 English class (we're studying WWI poetry) and it was hugely successful. One tip, if you're pressed for time, cut the shapes out beforehand, as my guys took *forever* to cut, fold and tape!!
