This is definitely my favorite song. I cry every time I here it, like right now. When she says you call me up agin just to break me like a promise that hits close to home. This song is dedicated to my ex boyfriend who broke my heart by telling me I wasn't pretty enough to be his girlfriend. When she says so casually cruel in the name of being honest, I think of how it went down. We broke up in 2013. I haven't been in a relationship since. I'm afraid of having my heart broken again. I loved him so much and he didn't just brake up with me and tell me I wasn't pretty enough for him, he also cheated on me with one of my best friends. So I've been spending the last two years trying to forget him. But I remember it all to well. And he still has my sweatshirt that I left in his car. So this song explains my situation perfectly.

I admire the way that she shows that she's still a normal person who experiences heart-break and pain even though she's famous. She shows that love is the most precious thing in life and it's a work of art.. a master-piece. Taylor swift expresses love in the best way possible. She says that you can't "forget" that person who broke your heart because they took the most important role in your life. It feels like she is running through love as like its happening in front of her face. I love Taylor Swift

It's hard to think she didn't write this by how emotionally powerful her performance is.. If she did then I applaud her for being a genuine artist who relives that pain over and over for the sake of our entertainment. Wow, that first sigh when she started to play the piano. The painful look in her eyes, the pain in her voice. She looks so sad and broken in this song.
