Oh my god, I remember watching this when I was like thirteen and being like, "WOWWW, THEY'RE FRIENDS!!!" I thought I was such a weird teen girl for liking really feminine country music like Taylor's and also hardcore punk music like Paramore's. Which is why this moment was so groundbreaking to me. Even though I'm more of a Hayley Williams fan now and my Swiftie days are over, still cool to think that two artists with completely different styles can get up and do an awesome collab.

The fact that Taylor is not only friends with Hayley and has an oddly similar singing voice to her, but is also good friends with Brendon Urie and has sung onstage with both of them (plus that one song she did with Brendon that made me embarrassed for liking either of them, so I try to forget it ever happened) really makes me hopeful that one day we'll get a really dark grungy Taylor Swift album where she just let's out all of her anger and frustration. That would probably turn about absolutely incredible!

A lot of people bagging Taylor Swift for her lack of singing ability relative to Hayley Williams. Very little said about them probably being at the very least on good terms or friends for Taylor to invite her out, knowing that Hayley Williams is the more skillful singer. That not only takes some courage and humility but also I'd take a not so far leap and say that Hayley recognizes that, Taylor recognizes that and Hayley knows she recognizes that and respects her for inviting her out anyway. I'd also make the guesstimate that Hayley wouldn't appreciate the dissing of Taylor that so many are giving, implying or inferring her being that at the very least they're obviously on good terms, if not friends.
