Guys, they didn't colaborate. They made the song in, like, three hours. They didn't brainstorm and all that, the process was fairly simple. The actress who sang the song recieved it the very same day they shot her scene. It's a pretty song, but to call their collaboration "iconic" is not the right word, because Taylor Swift wrote the lyrics and Andrew Lloyd Webber's input was more like "yeah, that's cool". Kind of like operas, you know? The one writing the music and the one writing the lyrics are doimg their work almost separately.

No, this one Taylor wrote. It's kind of... "A tradition", if you may, that the movie adaptations adds another song to set it apart form the musical, (in some cases it's a blatant Oscar bait, in others is a mandate from the studio to justify the movie's existance. Lindsay Ellis has a couple of cool videos explaining the Hollywood Grand Musical historyn if you want to know more). In an interview Taylor said something akin to "we needed a new song, but all the original songs are based on poems by T.S. Elliot. And well, we don't have much of those now, so if you can't get T.S. Elliot, get T.S." And that's how Beautiful Ghosts came to be.
