SUCH a good song. Its so superior. I listen to it in my car, through headphones and it just takes you to another place. Whole song is a atmospheric relaxing cruisy vibe. Slightly sad but hopeful and free feeling. About the very early stage of a relationship where its really delicate. And you fight between confidence that they like you and insecurity that they don't. Just be yourself. Because when the world turned on Taylor, and she went into hiding, that is when she met the love of her life , in secret, who loved her for her. Despite her reputation being bad. What a beautiful song.

Nice. This is a true story about meeting and beginning to try to date her boyfriend meeting up at a “dive bar on the east side, where you at?”. This video, like you said, doesn’t want to be seen, doesn’t want the body guards and the attention, she wants to be able to do normal things and meet up with a guy on a date. She can’t do that in real life. She would dress up so no one would recognize her so she could meet up with him (joe) at the dive bar, where she ends up in the video. Just like in real life when she dressed up incognito, people could see her but not recognize her, except for Joe. Reputation album is 100% autobiographical what she was going through and feeling at the time. Her diary essentially became songs.
