I was lucky enough to see her in Arlington, night 2. She was SO SO SO amazing! I was so impressed at her ability to sing, strut, dance, etc for 3 hours. The entire audience, the entire time, was dancing, singing, & screaming. Was mind blowing to share in that with 70,000 other fans.❤

I'm pretty positive Taylor will always perform Love Story... I can't remember exactly when, but I believe that Paul McCartney gave Taylor the advice to always perform those songs that are popular (i.e. shake it off, love story, blank space, etc.); fans will want to hear them. As many times as I've heard it, it hits so deeply live each time... I love Mr. Perfectly Fine, but if she's trying to perfectly encapsulate the fearless era, fearless, love story, and ybwm wrap it up neatly. I think MPF would be a great surprise song!!

I think she said at one point (maybe 1989 doc??) that she will always perform Love Story because it was her first big song, and she always wants to pay homage to where she started. I think that’s the best reason to continue playing it, and for that reason, I hope she never stops! I’m ok with some of the other singles (IKYWT) not being played every time though

When I got to see her live from my bedroom last weekend 🤣 I teared up when she came out on that stage in a sparkly dress, sparkly guitar and boots in and played Fearless. That song is literally the anthem of my pre-teens and I was fortunate enough to see the final show of that tour when I was 13 years old and it will forever be one of my core memories. So seeing her embrace that era so well definitely had me choked up. Also the rep era on this tour was EVERYTHING 😍😍 and I'm so glad Folklore and Evermore got their moments because those are my favourite Taylor Swift albums and they're just so good. Also, not me ugly crying to Marjorie thinking of my own grandmother 🤣🤣

I was at opening night and it was incredible! Going in blind, not knowing the setlist or the order of the eras was perfect and I'm so glad I had that experience (but I do think I missed some details because I would freak out with my friend every time Taylor started a song I didn't expect to be on the setlist lol). I was in the nosebleeds which wasn't the best obviously but it was still amazing - I could see all of the details on the stage and light up bracelets around the stadium! My favorite parts were All Ten Well, the transition from august into illicit affairs, ALL OF REP, and TIM MCGRAW AS A SURPRISE SONG was EVERYTHING to me as a senior Swiftie who grew up with country Taylor!!! I cried so hard during that song lol anyways I could go on forever, it was incredible, I'm still having intense post concert depression a week after the fact, and I really want a ticket to another US show haha

As an Aussie swiftie I've been watching everyones lives from my bedroom too. I've loved Taylor for over 10 years now and unfortunately never got to see her live, so I'm really hoping she'll release international dates soon, but also glad that I've got time to mentally prepare! I was lucky enough to attend night 2, floor seats row 1 of my section and was right next to the end of the catwalk. She sang 'This is my Trying' as one of her acoustic numbers on her guitar, and walked right over to where my daughter and I were standing, nodded and smiled right at us maybe 20 feet away. This performance made me CRY! My daughter made a maroon colored custom velvet cowboy hat with the words 'cowboy like me' stitched into it and we are 99.9 percent sure that nod and smile was directly at her and her hat! Also, I started crying when Delicate was being performed because I became overwhelmed with emotion that I was there, in that room with that energy, listening to her perform this again in front of me. I feel like I need to go again to process everything that I witnessed because it was so beyond anything!

I am so lucky to live close to Glendale - I got to see Taylor Night 2. One thing I've learned is that I adore the upbeat songs you can dance to, and it doesn't matter how many times you've already heard the song. I never really listen to Shake It Off, just because of how overplayed it became - but when my bf and I were driving home he said that clearly SIO is my favorite song because of how hard I danced and sang along. I hope she always plays the bangers. I think Look What You Made Me Do was my favorite performance, I lost my mind seeing the dancers dressed as different versions of Taylor. Plus I think that song is criminally underrated.

I agree with a lot of the things you mentioned here and have a lot of thoughts! 1) It is surprising that Speak Now only got one song but as we know that SNTV is coming next, I feel like she wants it to have it’s own special time. Also if she plays them then the streaming will go up massively and she probably wants that to happen for her version when she owns it. 2) I’m thinking (hoping) this is likely to be a long world tour and by the time she finishes a lot of the strange omissions will be played by the end. It’s just the luck of the draw as to what she plays in each city. 3) I also wonder if she missed some obvious choices because she felt she couldn’t perform it in an interesting way. Vigilante Shit was a surprise but the performance/choreo/costume was so good that it makes perfect sense. 4) I wonder if You’re On Your Own Kid is too difficult for her to play right now. Marjorie must be hard to play and emotionally draining, but she’s had some distance from when she wrote it. I wonder if YOYOK is still too raw and close to the bone to play right now every show?

I low-key hope that she will release Speak Now TV halfway during the tour, and change the setlist to include more songs from Speak Now. But again, the current setlist is also so good I don’t want any song to be sacrificed. For og fans removing her big hits like Love Story and YBWM makes sense but it will really impact the experience of the audience who don’t know much besides her popular hits.

I feel like this comment is forgetting one very important thing: A lot of OG fans weren’t able to go to previous tours. I’ve been a fan since debut, but I was never able to afford to go to a concert. This is my first TS concert as an adult who can now afford to go so removing the hits doesn’t just affect fans who casually are going just cause but it also affects the long time fans who just never were able to attend previous concerts and never got to hear those songs live. So while some of the hits I could live without, I am glad she’s bringing some oldies but goodies back so I can hear them for the first time ☺️

@@cc1526 I’m on the same train with you, I’ve been a fan since Fearless and didn’t live in the States so this would also be my first Taylor’s live concert too. I’d also feel like a huge part would be missing if she doesn’t perform her classic hits like Love Story and YBWM. When I wrote it made sense to remove these songs for the OGs, what I meant was she still has so many good songs that are only known to hard-core Swifties that listen to her whole discography and know all the songs, including unpopular ones to the general public. For me personally I would crave those songs since there isn’t any live version on the Internet, while for her hits it’s easier to find a live performance video. I’m so excited to see her soon. I could have EASILY done without Bad Blood, IKYWT and Love Story. Instead I would have added All You Had To Do Was Stay, I Bet You Think About Me and The Story of Us. My favourite costume was the Versace bodysuit and the folklore lilac gown. But she looked insane in all the outfit! The most beautiful thing about her though was how HAPPY she was and all the love and care she radiated for her fans. 😭

I wasn't following when this video came out, and I'm very late to the comment party, but opening night was my local show! It was a dream to be able to go in blind AGAIN after rep tour also starting here. We lost our collective minds when we got into the stadium and the schedule leaked - no one was expecting the setlist deep cuts, no one was expecting the show length. It was chaos. Paramore playing Misery Business after they had stopped playing it for years was an absolute TREAT. When we got to the bridge in Cruel Summer and everyone starting singing and girlie pop had STOPPED, it was so fun to go back and start the bridge again. While I get not putting it on the setlist, I was quite disappointed to not get to scream HEY KDIS SPELLING IS FUN. Finding out live in real time that she was only going to play one song from my stan album 💜, I was in disbelief for most of the start of Red.... Even now I would trade in a Red or 1989 or Folklore song to get one more from Speak Now, but I understand. Her playing TLGAD made up for it a little - my little underappreciated fav. Because I need more speak now, I wouldn't add anything not SN first, but I would've killed for Paper Rings. Getting Tim McGraw as a surprise song was something I didn't know I needed - I would have given you a list of other things but damn it was perfect to have. Plus I'm a mirrorball girlie through and through. I was lucky enough to go the second night and I started to relax when she walked to the piano, thinking we were going to get Tim McGraw or another debut again (we didn't yet know it didn't live on the setlist of course) and SHOT out of my seat at State of Grace. The DIVE when we were on the floor and couldn't see the trapdoor open was iconic. Getting to see N1 from the floor and then have N2 to relax and enjoy the magical production quality from higher up in the stadium was such a privilege's. Those performances were truly meant to be seen time and time again. We were so unprepared for the length of show the first night it was a struggle at the end of the night with feet and food and water, and getting stuck in the cement hell of parking lots we have here, but it was magical.

I was at opening night and it was the absolute best experience. Theres just things that needed to be experienced blindly! The dive into the stage?! The collective gasp and confusion? it was amazing! and don’t let people tell you other wise, the fans were going CRAZY and were LOUD! Loudest show i’ve ever been at, there was a lot of pure shock

I already went to my show and we got HAUNTED + I ALMOST DO and I cried so hard when she played them. I am so grateful for the ones she did like I CANT EXPRESS HOW HAPPY I AM THAT I GOT THOSE SONGS AND COULDN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING ELSE! But before I got those songs I wanted rwylm bc I love that song sm and I am an evermore stan and either getaway car or I think he knows. I was thrilled that Taylor gave huge respect to songs from the four new members of the family. She said she was eager to sing the Illicit Affairs bridge with an arena full of fans, & she crowbarred in just that part, which was perfect! Taylor ripped out my heart & showed it to me! The raw power in her singing “YOU showed me…” & “YOU taught me…” really rocks me every time I listen to a YT clip. I can’t believe I get to see that LIVE! I am shocked & seriously bummed that Maroon isn’t being included! I’ll happily remove any of her earliest songs to make room for Maroon & Death By a Thousand Cuts. My outfit even pays homage to DBaTC. I’m guessing you watched HTHAZE’s hilarious dance routine during his reaction to Maroon. I was so eager to hear her rap that out live! Loved this reaction video, thanks! I caught the first night of the tour in Glendale and as you know, it was fabulous!!! I am still suffering from the ERAS Tour hangover 4 months later. Folklore is my favorite album, so happy with all the songs she performed. Mirrorball is my favorite song from that album so I was so happy with this being the first surprise song of the tour! Too many beautiful costumes to choose from but I love all the dresses she has worn for the Folklore set, especially the purple one. I really like that she is doing the surprise song section, it's exciting to predict what songs she will perform each night and that's brilliant!! I would love to see her again, but have been to several other concerts this summer and going to a few in the fall so my wallet is telling me to slow it down but you never know, she might do some more US tour dates in 2024 (wishful thinking)! i went on the first night and jfc it was so amazing. it was my first time seeing her live and i saw my favorite band OPEN FOR HER JFHCHENEN my view was so good, def high up but it was like… middle of the stage right below the middle monitor. my favorite was def either champagne problems OR willow bc that performance was …. truly so iconic. it matched my internal vision and the music video almost completely hahahah. i love how she went in order and played the songs from each albums in clumps. AHDNDJ just so good. the outfits were serves. she slayed, no crumbs at all. i want to go again every night 😭😭
