As far as I know, the final vocals were a re-recording with him slurring to make it sound wired. The original recording absolutely wired.

So what he did was originally record his verses with his jaw wired and then when the wire came off, recorded the same verse and layered them other the top of each other so you can actually make out both the clear verse and the wired verse. He released the fully wired version on his Get Well Soon mixtape

Top 10 album of all time; def my #1. Best Kanye verses, amazing samples, a ton of diversity, a loose story that connects every song, and an amazing heart warming ending track. You can really feel the passion Kanye had for this album; the confidence in this album is crazy. He approached the album like he already was the biggest in the game.
