Alexandra Laios Taylor Swift is Taylor Swift. I think that she was less confident back then than she is now. She was younger, less experienced, and overall just new to the industry. She is in no way fake today, however. Taylor Swift is exactly who she is. She doesn't try to be someone she isn't. If you actually knew anything about her you would know that. If you saw the way she interacts with her fans, the way she loves us and all she does for us, you would know that. Every person that has met her will tell you she is just as sweet and hilarious as she seems. Ask anyone who went to the Secret Sessions (I'm sure you know what these are because you OBVIOUSLY know SOOO much about her) about their conversations with her because i can guarantee you that they'll tell you there was nothing fake about it. If you didn't know, which i'm SURE you did, the Secret Sessions were 5 hour long parties that Taylor held at each of her 4 houses and a hotel room in London where she invited 89 fans and she made them dinner and cookies, took polaroids with them, talked to each one individually about themselves, and played them the entire 1989 album a month before it came out. I could rant on about the Secret Sessions or Swiftmas (you OBVIOUSLY know about this too probably) or how she invited a fan and her family to spend hours with her at her house on Valentines Day, forever, but I think you get my point. You can't fake caring for your fans that much. And you can't live you life trying to be someone you're not. You would go crazy; it's simply impossible. Taylor Swift is Taylor Swift. She's grown up. She's learned a lot. But she is still the same caring, cat-obsessed, extremely talented, DOWN TO EARTH, determined person that she always was. A lot of people can't stand it when people around them are being fake. I understand that. I however can't stand when people around me are being arrogant. I hope this made you reconsider your complete and utterly bias statement. To further prove my point, I have provided a list of thing Taylor has down for her fans. List (in no particular order and keep in mind this is just what I could think of off the top of my head. There is so much more...): -Sent personalized packages to over 30 fans; referred to as Swiftmas -Sent personalized packages to another 30 fans around valentines day -invited a fan and her family to her house and baked cookies with them and played with her cats with them and played one of her songs for them, on valentines day -Attended a fans wedding shower baring gifts -the fan above spoke about her before she received her 2nd billboard woman of the year award -Visited fans countless times when they were sick in the hospital -wrote a song for a fan's child who died of cancer, and gave all the proceeds to cancer research -once ordered pizza for all the fans waiting outside an event to meet her -invited 89 fan to 5 house parties and played them her new album early -GOT A TUMBLR -likes her fans' posts on Tumblr -reblogs fans' posts on Tumblr -like and favorites fans' instagram posts and tweets -lets us into her life and doesn't try to hide from us who she is -MAKES MUSIC -Offers a source of inspiration -Countless times has commented or replied to a fans posts on social media with emotional support -is active on social media -has a special place after every tour show on every one of her headlining tours where she picks extra enthusiastic fans to come have food and meet her after the show at a little party -Spends as much time on planing and making her tours the best she can as she does -THE 1989 WORLD TOUR. -1989. -RED. -THE RED TOUR. -SPEAK NOW. -THE SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR. -FEARLESS. -THE FEARLESS TOUR. -TAYLOR SWIFT (DEBUT). -puts the effort that the does into making her albums better each time -offering sweepstakes like the Swiftstakes to her fans giving them more opportunities to meet her -invited 100 fans to be in her "Shake it Off" music video -always does her best to keep us in the know and informed about on UNLESS she is planning on surprising us with something that will leave us dead and lying on the cold hard ground -make her music videos as amazing as they are -always tries to change things up so we never get disinterested (not that we would anyway) -Followed fans on tumblr and routinely checks up on them -Counless times has searched for specific fans that she knows will be there in the audience of award shows, including THE FREAKING GRAMMYS -is a great role model for the younger generation and really for anyone -is as adorable as she is -has the heart she does -exists What were you saying again?

I think she recognizes the success she's had and her status in the music industry. I think she's proud of herself, and she should be. And even if she was a little bit full of herself, can you imagine how difficult it would be to not be full of yourself if you'd had the amazing success that she has. Even IF some of her cheeriness (or whatever you think is fake) is put on for the the sake of her reputation, CAN YOU FREAKING BLAME HER??? After all the unnecessary shit she went through in 2012 and 2013 you can't blame her for maybe wanting to be on the good side of the media. I could go on but if you haven't gotten the point by now you're never going to. So go ahead. Think she's fake. Think it's all some clever ruse to get good publicity. But I can guarantee you, there's no way someone could be as happy as she is now living a fake life.
