In Miss Americana, when Tree calls and tells her she's not nominated in any of the major categories, and Taylor says, 'That's fine, I just need to make a better album' and Tree says "Reputation is a GREAT album" I yelled at my TV and said, "You tell her Tree, Reputation is a GREAT album!" I'm just not sure if the Grammy's were ready for that kind of shift from Taylor.

@@brucebrown3837That part was so sad to see because while we know that Taylor’s number one priority isn’t to make music just to win awards, she’s human and we all want acceptance and recognition for our hard work. What made it even worse was that she was in such a low place during the time after 1989 up until making reputation and you could tell she poured her heart and soul into it, similar to TTPD, and to not get even one nomination in the bigger categories had to really hurt 😢 She got the last laugh though with her reputation tour breaking records after so many people and media outlets were trying to say it was going to be a flop and not the “comeback” she was hoping for. She didn’t need a comeback. She never left. She also got the last laugh after all of the negative reviews of Lover when she surprised us with the perfection of an album known as folklore during the pandemic and without any promotion at all. That surprise album, with Taylor tackling yet another genre, came out of nowhere and ended up breaking all kinds of records, bringing in new fans of indie and alternative music, and helped her win Album of the Year for the third time at only the age of 31. The good thing to come from that scene in the documentary is to see that now and makes music for her and her fans. She doesn’t care about critical reception like she used to and that makes me so happy 😊

Same! I’ve always loved Knox Hill’s reactions because of how amazing he is at breaking songs down. ThatSingerReactions was one of my favorites who went from “Taylor Swift can’t sing” to wearing a friendship bracelet and doing a live stream when TTPD dropped to listen along with fans. One of my favorite things to do is watch KZbin reactors go from not liking her based off the misconception that she can’t sing, she only makes music about her ex boyfriends, and simply because they were/are Kanye West fans to full on Swifties. They all say “I’ll give her songs a listen, but if I get to the point where there’s songs I don’t vibe with or I don’t like then I’m not checking any more songs out. I’ve liked all of the requests so far. We’ll see where this takes us” and then five songs later and they’re doing full Taylor album reactions and they’re so excited by new music. Haha. Once you go down that Taylor Swift rabbit hole, you’re not coming back the same. 😂 I didn’t know Luke until this video. I’m going to go check out his videos now. He seems so sweet and I loved his personality in these clips.

REP tour hooked me in in REAL time for sure! I’m the same age as Taylor and was always aware of her radio hits, not thinking anything else when it came to her. I was so oblivious to how crazy that Kimye situation really was but had that mindset of “damn just leave Taylor alone already”. BUT free tickets I was given to the opener in Glendale for Rep was what drew me in. Nothing was the same after that! Things just so happened to workout at that time when I accepted a job offer in Washington which just so happened to align with her tour route that I managed to catch her tour in Santa Clarita and Seattle! What a time, Rep will always be that girl for me and I CANNOT WAIT for REP TV and the vault tracks!!

Thank you for this. It was amazing and half the people on here I watch because they are really good. I dearly wish there was a way to get in touch with Taylor and send this. Mostly because it defies the industry, it's scolds and the media that beat her up all the time. She saw this she would know people who are not Swifties who see her work at first, especially men since they are the most resistant, do fall in love and she wins them over. They know then she is a true artist. If anyone knows how to get in touch with her and have her see this it would probably mean so much to her. She is never going to please the industry and its scolds and the entertainment media. They will always beat her down. But if she knows little by little she is beating them with her talent. The former says she cannot sing or dance. The latter is amazed and says she is brilliant. Ignore the idiots and listen to the people. I see so many people bring this up when reacting to this performance and as a Swiftie myself I’m now curious. What *are* the dancers supposed to be dressed as?! 😂 I saw the reputation tour in person, but wasn’t close enough to see the details of the dancers and I was honestly more focused on Taylor because of how crazy this performance is.
