Great reaction guys. You saw the video exactly for what it was and many people who are not huge Taylor fans miss it all the time. Taylor endured a lot of shit over that situation with Kanye and Kim especially after Kim released the highly edited version of the recorded phone call between Taylor and Kanye where she makes it look like Taylor agreed to Kanye's lyrics for his song Famous when she did not, hell she did not even know the call was being recorded. The real truth has since come out when someone released the entire call after over a year of Kim and Kanye refusing to because they knew people hearing the entire call would know Kim and Kanye were the liars and Kim was the true snake. Going into this album Taylor just decided to turn things around on Kim and own the snake thing and made it the center of her stage set up for the entire Reputation tour. The part involving the crash of the car into the light pole and her holding a Grammy was a dig at Katy Perry because she has never won a Grammy award and Taylor has 11 of them. The tilted stage line is referring to Kanye's tilted stage for his last tour which he cut short by a few cities. At the end of the video when she is making fun of herself the one from the crashed car mentions getting receipts and editing her video later is a dig at Kim. When she is sitting in the bath tub full of jewelry if you look closely you will see a single dollar bill in with the jewels and it represents the one dollar she won in court when the radio DJ who touched her ass during a photo op and was later fired when she complained to his station manager tried to sue her and she countered sued for damages of one dollar just on the principal of the issue.

"She always got her little squad behind her" literally right before the very scene that calls out the media portraying her "squad" as somewhat her minions/skinny model girls. (the sorta bdsm taylor + mannequins scene) Truth: Taylor has other friends too, the closest being Abigail, who's not a celebrity. But the media made it seem as if Taylor has her own celebrity squad consisting only pretty, skinny models like mean girls. The media used to make articles like "catching up with the most recent members of Taylor's squad/ who got kicked out of the squad etc" as if they were exclusive VIPs when in reality they're just girls enjoying each other's companies like any other people.

The first verse is about Kanye and Kim. The second verse of this song is definitely about Taylor's old label taking advantage of her naivety by practically stealing her work, refusing to sell her back her masters despite her practically carrying that label. That's why she holds up the motorcycles in the video aka Big Machines - her old label.
