Taylor is a great inspiration to young women and has been since she was 15 years old! She's been an entertainer that hasn't been pushed into basically soft porn to sell music so the children she saving are here at home ones that want to be like her ones that are not wearing thongs on the beach because Taylor doesn't… Believe me this will affect their lives but wisdom comes with age so maybe you don't remember all the stuff that other music artist have done just remember none of us are perfect none of us are saints but we can give in her own way... and does Taylor. She's careful with her business she writes her own songs has done since she was again a child! Sings her song write songs for other singers that half the time none of us know about plays many many instruments and takes part in all the creativity within the videos etc. of her music because she writes her own and isn't controlled by some bigwig who basically wants to put her on a stage in a bathing suit and wiggle her butt.... did you read the letter she wrote to apples do you know how much she's trying to help artists and producers and people musicians that are involved with making music all get paid appropriately she is changing the music industry back again or bit by bit for the artists that's really big because for the wonderful stars we see in their huge homes there are so many others with that work on those songs we listen to the go home to a small apartment the children with mouths to feed that are getting paid less and less and less as streaming conglomerates block funds that rightfully should go to all the thousands and thousands of people that work in the music industry. Remember she's 28 Madonna Beyoncé and Angelina Jolie have all been married and had children and time to do things around the world so give Taylor a break let her find a husband have a child take a breath she's a legend to me and to many many others around the world maybe one day you'll find room in your heart for her too. And I do pray that she does work around the world as she gets older but remember all the people you mentioned have what like 10 to 25 years on her. So give her time and give her a chance. Too many young business women around the world she's an icon and I'm really really proud of her she's who I would want my daughter to be like well and Beyoncé is pretty awesome too so you've got that part right:) but again she's got quite a few years on Taylor and a lot more money. I'm really glad that you admire people for doing good in the world but remember sometimes the people you think are doing the most good do it just for the cameras to my brother worked in the business and it can be a pretty dirty business....just my two cents and maybe a little food for thought😊

I'm 70 years old now and I got a hug from Taylor Swift back in 2008 but I was so shocked I didn't hub back. Here's what happened. When I heard Our Song in 2007 I knew instinctively that I'd heard the future of music. In 2008 Taylor came to Winnipeg with Rascal Flatts and I happened to be in the vicinity of the local Children's Hospital where she was giving a live interview so I walked in. At the end of her interview I stopped her in the hallway, introduced myself, and said "Miss Swift, if you keep doing what you're doing some day we'll talk about you in the same breath as the Beatles, Billy Joel, and Shania Twain." Her mouth dropped, she got all serious, and said "That deserves a hug." She stepped forward and gave me a big hug. I was so shocked I didn't even hug back. And no one thought of getting a picture.
