It's sad because the media perceives taylor to be this diva that doesn't care about anyone and just dates guys so she can write songs about them. But that isn't her. She I so kind I have never known someone who cares so much about there fans that they send them presents for Christmas or go to their bridal shower. She didn't let fame get to her and like that. She uses fame as an opportunity to give back to her fans for all they have done for her. People judge her without even knowing anything about her. I love her so much. She inspires me to give back to others.

I am not a part of Taylor Swift's generation, nor is her music my thing, but I admire her very much for her sincerity and the genuine love she has for her fans. She is truly a beautiful person. Ronaldo - I totally agree. I am not a fan of her music (still stuck in the '60's and '70's musically), but I really think the things she does to reach out to fans is awesome. This is a great example. Oprah gave cars to entire audiences, but TS painted a picture for this couple and presented it to them personally. In the Christmas videos, it seems her fans appreciated the handwritten notes more than anything else she gave them. And she doesn't just sent an autographed picture, she sends long notes to let that person know she's read their posts, she's seen their videos and she sees them as people, not just fans. It's that personal touch that really shows her true character. She knows she would not be anything without them and does give back. Of course she can't reach out and touch all of the millions of her fans, but I believe this is her way of thanking the fans a couple at a time so that all can be thanked. I would hope she continues to reward her fans in really sweet, touching personal ways. I applaud her.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of Taylor Swift (she is a GREAT singer, just not my thing), but after seeing they way she goes out of her way to try and do things for her fans, I have become a big fan of hers as a person/human being. This gives me just a bit more faith in humanity, especially during these times. It's upsetting that so many people "hate" Taylor Swift (sadly, including most of my fandom) just for 'dating around' and not for her actual personality, like this. I know everyone has an opinion and I'm just expressing mine too. Of course I can't tell people off for saying their opinion, freedom of speech and all. And as the famous quote goes, "Never apologize for stating your opinion. Apologize when you're rude about it." Which is what I believe firmly. That's what being a celebrity is all about, giving back. Other celebrities should take note. My 5 year old son wants to be famous one day and I tell him all the time, should that ever happen, it's his duty to give back to the community (visit sick kids, kids in need, etc).
