@natnut2008 I feel the exact same way. On a technical level, Carrie is very very efficient. She does have strong vocal control. On paper, she is the perfect candidate. Vocals is a part of music, but music is made up of so much more. Taylor has real authentic soul and emotion in her music and she is able to convey that to the audience, something that is extremely rare for a mainstream artist to do. I really wish more people can see this side of her, rather than just the pop princess side media

@logotgr Different people have different definition of a good voice.For example,Carrie has a powerful blaring voice but her tone is grating and is like a buzzsaw to my ears(even though a lot of her fans proclaim her to be some kind of vocal goddess).For me,Taylor's voice though soft,is so smooth and relaxing to listen to.I'd listen to Taylor's songs 100X before even torturing myself with one of Carrie's. :)
