Taylor and her dad are masterminds behind her brand and they always have a long game that no one else sees until after the fact. They literally acted like she was just a girl who grew up on a small farm and got bullied so she has always had a victim narrative. The reality is that there’s not much to say about Taylor, so people cling to whatever they can to make her look bad. Is she perfect? 100% not. If the internet was a place to have a constructive healthy debate, I could name quite a few things I don’t agree with when it comes to Taylor’s actions. But while she’s been very lucky and privileged to have supportive parents who had the money to invest in her, she is far from being the most privileged out there. We are overflowed by nepo babies right now who not only grew up rich (not Christmas tree farm rich, superstars parents rich) but also grew up in the industry they ended up pursuing a career in, with all the right exposure and connections to make it. I don’t hear nearly as much complaining about them as I hear about Taylor. And honestly, even then, privilege cuts both ways. You don’t chose where you’re born. You do what you can with what you have, either way. Taylor and her parents and her team turned a £10000 investment into billions. I don’t know many people who could do that.

True Story. I went to a public highschool in NYC and one of the Basketball coaches played college ball with Scooter. I wasn’t even on the team but I was cool with the coach cause he was a cool ass dude and one day he told me the team and a couple other kids to meet at a classroom. When we get there he is there with Scooter, this is 2008 so nobody had a clue who he was but he had Asher Roth at the time and was playing his music for us. Paul’s worth over a billion pounds is. Possibly $1,200,000.00 . Taylor is on a trajectory of passing Paul. Taylors songs are pop pablum for the younger set ie. twelve to sixteen or possibly eighteen year olds. They will be real grown ups in twenty years. They won’t be listening to Taylor. What is it that you don't understand...Scooter bullied her for years, used his artists to make fun of her, said some horrible things about her, and I mean for years... and later on, he shamelessly bought her work and made tons of money off of her just to rub it in her face! Now, how disgusting and evil is this person. Why did he go near her, like why...?!! She clearly said that she begged her label to sell her her work since forever, but she was never granted the opportunity! Re-recording your entire catalogue is a huge and costly undertaking. I’m not surprise Scooter didn’t think she’d really do it. I don’t think he knows Taylor that personally, but he’s managed huge celebrities for years and I’m sure he was using his knowledge there to decide she was bluffing.. Also, he probably thought on the small chance she does re-record them it won’t be a big deal because this strategy usually doesn’t even work. It’s hard to convince millions of fans to switch from the familiar recording to the updated one. Scooter underestimated Taylor and her relationship with her fans, and he probably didn’t even consider the “vault” aspect of it, which has ramped up the hype even more. But we also need to appreciate that an artist essentially just giving us the same album again has never generated this much hype and success, and it’s impressive Taylor has been able to do it.
