Awww... you made me cry 😢.. I was once in that situation too where I started hating going out and tired of dealing with fake and judgemental people at school. I lost all the energy and light. Then I've met her and her amazing songs. Started to know the wonders of headphones and playlists, able to enjoy walking and smile or giggle while listening to her diary in form of lyrics. When you were talking about your love for Taylor at the end, I started tearing up! I completely understand how you felt at that age. Middle school was awful for a while because I had no friends and was made fun of for silly reasons and when my mom bought me Taylor’s first album in 2007, I listened to it thinking “Has she been looking into my life” she understood what I was going through. She’s like the best friend everyone wants to have because she reaches us on a personal level because she has been there. It makes me so happy that I became a fan!

Gonna copy and paste my whole theory here: "My sister and I have a theory that whenever Taylor mentions eyes or blue eyes those songs are about Joe (e.g. Gorgeous, Ready for it, and Call it What you want) and then when she mentions gold she's talking about Calvin (e.g. End Game, Dress, So it Goes, Dancing With Our Hands Tied). She even has a line in DWOHT where she says "deep blue but you painted me golden," so maybe saying she was meant for a guy like Joe but Calvin made her his for a time? This is just an idea we're tossing around, but the timeline adds up for this theory from what I can tell. Also, pretty sure since Taylor is filming in London the next single is King of My Heart, another Joe single." Also, yes, Dress is about Calvin bc that's the timeline that lines up with her bleached hair.

I'm sure you've probably listened to these songs more since the reaction, but when I listened to getaway car, I thought the ending was happy/freeing. I think it's about her leaving Calvin for Tom and then eventually leaving Tom because he was just her way of escaping her relationship with Calvin. That's why she's saying that they were in a getaway car and she grabbed the keys at the hotel and left on her own.
