To this day, taylor is still involved in Maya's life. Taylor helped name Maya's daughter, she's Poppy's god mother. Recently, she had Maya at one of the last eras tour dates in london. Love how they've stayed connected.

It's a great song, I love how Taylor involved Maya in everything and gave her writing credit, donating the proceeds to the foundation. I feel like it's one of those things that shows people just how big Taylor's heart is. That couldn't have been easy to write, practice, record, or perform.

This is the song that made me a fan. What a brave child she describes and the pain of the Mom. It was clear that NO ONE could write this who lacked true empathy. I hope the proceeds help in the fight against childhood cancer because it is a horrible way to die. How do you tell a child who is almost 4 that his life is ending? It is crystal clear she has a heart that is big and she is the kind of woman I wish my children had when growing up as a role model.

I think this song is beautiful but heartbreaking 💔 I was there during the 1989 tour when she sang this. Most concerts she had special guests but in Glendale AZ Ronans Mom, Maya Thompson was in the audience as our special guest. It was beautiful ❤

Taylor has only performed this song twice. This video and once on a benefit for a Stand ⬆️ 2️⃣Cancer event. Maya gets royalties whenever it’s played or streamed. Although it makes us sad, we applaud Taylor for doing this for childhood cancer and for Maya. The actual video of this plays Maya’s pictures of Ronan. His eyes were a piercing blue and such an absolutely beautiful face and smile. I cannot even imagine how that would feel. After Ronan passed, Maya eventually had a daughter who has Ronan as her middle name. He will never be forgotten. 💔
