I hope Kanye is happy with himself for sending a teenager into a psychological downward spiral with his little self-indulgent stunt. I’m proud of Taylor and all she has fought through and for. She is a true positive influence for the youth and the rest of the world. I was never a fan of hers until I watched this. Today, Taylor has a new fan in me. Keep fighting the good fight.
@hushedtones71684 жыл бұрын
I dont think he’s "happy" about it he just did what he felt was right at the time. Kanye did this first because he felt a industry-pushed rich white daddy’s & mommy’s girl taking the shine away from a veteran black artist in her prime moment of 20+years in the making. If he didn’t do this to her other life event would have happened to her just as bad psychologically because from what she recalls her whole identity was already very unhealthy from childhood she built herself a glass castle. This event catapulted her into international level of sympathy. And you see well other bad life events happened to her after that. Its not like this incident was one isolated thing. When you fly close to the sun you eventually get burnt.
@purpdist23554 жыл бұрын
@@hushedtones7168 exactly. Let's not give Kanye that much power. Taylor is aware that the Kanye event triggered psychologycal issues from all her life but she wasn't saying she's a victim of Kanye. Kanye doesnt have that much power over her. He's just a little piece of shit.

@moonadhomy1926 Nope! It’s unfair treatment that people can’t stand. When other celebrities in the past were picked on and made mistakes. The world was quick to put them down and be nasty, although they know nothing about their personal life. But when Taylor has this issue, she’s always the victim and everyone feels sorry for her. Unless they’re guilty of committing serious crimes, all celebrities deserve empathy and encouragement to get better! Not hate and unfair judgement.

It's certainly not her fault modern plumbing and electricity had been widely available by then. Her parents weren't rich either. Taylor worked very hard for everything she has. I just finished watching Taylor Swift's "Miss Americana" and I have to say I admire her honesty and her bravery being so candid about herself. One thing I hope she will learn in time is that no matter what side of the house or senate a candidate is on, there is someone in their political party that has done something smarmy to women. I'm terribly disappointed in some of President Trumps comments and attitude toward women, but those words and actions are not unique to the Republican Party. There are plenty of Democrats that have some explaining to do when it comes to their treatment of women--John & Teddy Kennedy, Bill Clinton are just a couple of examples. Hopefully, one day all men, no matter what their political affiliation, will learn to treat women with respect.

Yes you’re very right. And I think what Taylor has done in voicing her personal beliefs is for people to educate themselves and do their research on who stands with their beliefs. It’s you saying “This is who I am today and I accept this reality. But I know that I have it within me to change and grow as a person.” It takes a lot of mental energy to NOT accept who you are in the present moment. It is a form of denial. And as soon as you release yourself to the reality of what is, that energy can be used for other things. So keep self-acceptance as you aim. In this article, we’ve spoken about the roots of self-loathing, we’ve looked at some of the symptoms of it, and we’ve explored ways to overcome this mentality and move toward a more peaceful and content place. Self-loathing is a prison within the mind. It may feel familiar and secure and you may not want to taste the freedom that exists on the outside, but once you do, you’ll realize how restricted you really were. Be good to yourself. Know that you are worthy of feeling good.

There are no reason to hate her, we just lived in a very judgmental society.
