fun fact: one of her first ever interviews during the 1989 era is about her fear of getting framed for something she did not do and what happened at the end of the era? yup. she got framed for something she did not do and that was the kanye west phone call situation

When Taylor had her breakthrough & she went from writing songs about high school boyfriends to writing songs about famous guys, the media just took that & went wild with it! They scrutinized her about it for most of her career & now she’s so private & that works for her & Joe & I’m alll for it 👸🏼🤴🏼

To comment on the media constantly asking about her dating life: for some reason, people got this idea that literally every song was about a different guy. It was like “oh Taylor is only dating this person to write a song about them.” Which is so ridiculous. And Taylor has talked about how it’s also very sexist...no one comments on male artists who write mostly songs about relationships as well. So after a previous public relationship, she stayed completely single for YEARS, just to kinda prove a point. And that’s also when she wrote Blank Space (her performance at the Grammy museum is amazing and she talks a bit about the song beforehand). But now, she’s been dating Joe for over 4 years and they seem very happy and private which is wonderful!

Sad thing when she was young and said she's a singer so she should've kept on only singing instead of voicing out her political view; the interviewers which usually consist of elders would praise her for being wise and sorta "know her place".
@apoorvakulkarni45953 жыл бұрын
I love your videos. She was 17 when her career started and was a country artist and what happened with the dixie chicks would scare any artist. But she has been gradually speaking out about things now. Initially She didn't put her music on streaming services because artists were not compensated fairly. Then they had changed their policies. She put petition for equality act on her "You need to calm down video". She voiced her support for Biden-Harris in the election. She is going slowly but steadily. She is a beautiful person inside and out and I am not saying that because I am fan. I am a girl from India I don't have anything in common with her. I accidentally saw an interview of hers then I was curious so I saw more clips of her and I fell in love with her then I checked out her music and thus began the process of becoming a swiftie. And now I watch other people fall in love with her

When you start doing Taylor Swift's discography, there is a lot of songs she did, that is not on her albums. B.o. B and Taylor "Both of Us", T Pain and Taylor "Thug Story", Taylor Swift "Only the Young" Taylor Swift "Beautiful Ghosts". There is another song, that is really sad, I believe it is about a boy who died, I can't remember the name, I am sure someone will tell you. I am sure I probably missed some. Taylor also did some SNL skits. You are going to be very busy for a long time. Also, for the singles, do the MV. Forgot to add "Christmas Tree Farm"

Ellen asking Taylor about boyfriends all the time might seem rude and it is, in fact, kinda annoying, but they are still good friends to this day, so I guess it didn’t really bother Taylor deeply. Also, the pressure for her to be dating someone all the time, is because her songwriting has always been focused on her personal life - especially her breakups. Literally every artist writes about love and breakup, but for some reason Taylor always received backlash. Also, all of her relationships until 2016 were REEEEALLY public. Pictures and cute photos all the time, no hiding from paps, so people were always interested to see what was going on in her personal life, and then, when the breakup happened, everyone knew who she was talking about in the song. I guess that was the big “issue” (it should’ve never been an issue 🤷🏻♀️ but that’s the media)

Ellen hugely contributes to taylors being dubbed as a serial dater and her crazy gf agenda... idk how tays friend w her when everytime back in the day 2008-2015 all elle does is ask tay about her ex and set her up
@graceedgington3 жыл бұрын
I don't think Ellen asking Taylor about her dating history/boyfriends is coming from a bad place. Her and Ellen are quite close so it's sort of become a bit of a joke for her to ask her about guys/her boyfriend every time she goes on her show, eventhough sometimes it can come across as invasive.
