I'm a cat person because cats snuggle next to you, wraps their little arms around your arm and nuzzles their little faces into your arm and squeeze your arm tightly to them and fall asleep. It's the purest thing ever. Also a cat's purr has legit healing powers. Look that up, it's crazy. They can lower blood pressure, lower the risk of heart attack, help breathing, and relieve anxiety. Also purr vibrations can even help swelling, infections, bone healing amongst other things. Cats are amazing.

Cats dont bite scratch or hiss at you unless youre doing something to irritate them. They have a lower tolerance than dogs but if you piss a cat off thats your own fault. Cats can be super loving. Its been proven that they don’t just purr when theyre happy but they also do it to comfort people. If youre sad or hurt and your cat comes up to you and starts purring its because they can sense it and want to make you feel better. Thats not a demon.

My cats are so soppy. I can squish my face in their belly and they'll just purr. They are very energetic at times though and vocal when they want something. Taylor seems to have quite a few Scottish Folds and British short hairs by the look of it, beautiful cats

Cats demand that they give consent - so you have to earn a cat's trust and affection or they will 100% let you know you are not welcome. Cats are fine. They have boundaries, just like people, and can suffer many of the same illnesses as people. Every time I see someone claim cats are horrible and mean, I just hear, 'I can't respect boundaries and feel that my wants and desires are more important than an animal's comfort'. And your reason for not liking cats is they can rips noses off? Do we really need to bring up the never-ending list of cases where dogs brutalized people for no reason? It's to the point where whole breeds of dogs are demonized for a small number of dogs in that breed that attacked people unprovoked. All carnivores have the potential to be dangerous to others. It's weird to me how cats are treated like they're evil. Especially black cats.
