This is the first track of her album “folklore”. It was an album she made bc she was bored during quarantine basically and it actually won album of the year at the Grammys. It’s a folk/indie album that deals with telling stories and different ideas from many different perspectives, not even just her. There’s even a love triangle storyline between the songs cardigan, august, and Betty. It’s not explicitly stated but it’s kinda obvious listening to all 3 songs She made a second album a few months later that is the sister album
