To be honest I am not that upset as more money is never bad, providing some (wish all) goes back to the team. We fell behind United in terms of the commercial side in the 80’s/90’s and paid the price so we need to ensure we don’t make that mistake again.

It's not quite as mad as it sounds. A chunk of Madrid's funding has come from concerts. I'm not a fan of Swift, but she'll fill Anfield and bring a ton of money to the city.

I would like more transparency about the club's numbers, even if some figures aren't publicly disclosed, at least privately under a Non-Disclosure Agreement to delegates from the supporters and social grassroots. Taylor swift,pink twice, rolling stones,take that, Elton John have all played anfield since they've had a concert licence. How much extra money has that netted the club? If people think a football club can run just on ticket sales to 30 or so home games is a little bit naive. FSG'S big plan. My god. @vruz not at all. Every club does it. City,United,Norwich, Bolton, Sunderland all have concerts in their stadiums to generate extra income. It must work or they wouldn't do it.
