They sometimes build the plans reverse of the brochure depending on the lot.

It's back in fashion with a twist because of all the bathrooms in modern houses. Combi-boilers save space but you can only really use one hot tap at a time in the house, which doesn't really suit a house with 3 bathrooms. The twist is that these are unvented (pressurised) conventional systems, not old school F&E tanks which means higher pressure hot water and no cold water tank in the loft.
