GAIT Lacrosse Stick Options | Review and Details

It seems as if the first stick you’re reviewing could actually be the Gait Air. Could that be the case? I’m trying to decide between the Gait Whip and the new Apex, any recommendations? I play midfield btw.

How would you say the gait draw stick compares to the stx axxis?

What are your recommendations for adjusting / breaking in a new stick? I coach girls youth lacrosse and all the girls use the Whip. Off the shelf, they pockets are pretty shallow and need to adjusted to the right depth. Any recommendations on adjusts (leathers, side walls, shooting strings) would be great! Thank you!

Thanks Taylor! Quick question for you, my twins are in 3rd grade. Between the Apex or whip (both flex mesh) what would you recommend is more forgiving for weak hand catches and the common ground balls to expect with 3rd graders? Thanks!

For a third grader, these sticks are quite advanced. I would get something more in the $100-$150 price range. Maybe even lower. At that age, they definitely don't need a stick this good. It actually may be harder to control for a young player.

My Daughter is in 7th grade and plays on a club team. She takes the draw. Would you recommend the draw stick over the wip. I would want her to be able to play with the stick after the draw as well.

Hi, my daughter is just starting High school lacrosse and I want to get her a new stick. Which do you suggest. She plays attack. Will we need to get the strings adjusted after purchase or will she be ready to go?

So would you suggest a whip or apex for a mid and attacker?? I also sometimes take draws.

apex probably whip isnt the best for draws..

My daughter owns all three of these sticks. The shafts are getting sticky even though there is no tape wrapped around them. Any suggestions?
