I love the challenge, you go slow and steady. You didn’t go for a big challenge that can put your health at risk and make you give up in two days. Way to go champ.

I do the Mediterranean diet and this is similar but not exactly the same. I intermittently fast 14/10, cut down on carbs and can lose 2 Lbs a week and feel good. I work in construction and gain weight in the summer and take it off in the winter.

Very similar! Good job

As a follow-up video, can you please speak to a doctor/nutritionist and discuss the process, outcome, and what could have been happening in/to your body? I think getting that conversation would be super helpful to everyone.

I found your video quite interesting with your Matthew McConaughey diet I think you should try the carnivore diet for 5 days to see how that works out. I've heard great things about that way of eating.

When I saw the egg whites in the glass......thank goodness they were cooked. I have never seen this diet and I will admit I was worried that Matthew Rocky'd those egg whites. I wonder why Matthew did fish instead of chicken. I don't eat fish, but maybe it is healthier. I love the vlog/challenge style of video.

Know exactly what you mean re: that anxious energy. I experience that too whenever I do intermittent fasting. From what I've read I believe that's our innate survival mechanism kicking in telling us we're hungry and need to hunt for food.

Day #1 almost dinner time and let me humbly suggest that you take *electrolytes with this diet as my feet and muscles are cramping after all the water I am passing. I've probably lost 5lbs in water alone and it's not yet dinner time. But my feet cramped up around noon, and my legs are cramping. I have supplemented this diet with electrolyte pills but figure regular table salt and water would do.
@chrisg104311 ай бұрын
Yeah. I couldn’t do that diet…. Good job. I would’ve gone crazy by the end of day 2.

Crazy diet! Kinda reminds me of a diet craze that is going around the traveling channels. I can't remember what it's called but basically it's 100 cals every 2.5 hrs...higher protein....my friend lost over 100 lbs ...but they have there own packmeals then one lean and green...I can't afford this plan...it's like 350 usd per box and still have to buy lean and green...if you know what it is called please let me know...Crazy amount of weight Taylor...

I recommend more salt and potassium. Did you know we need much more potassium than salt? Anyways, enjoying your new adventure, I may try something like this or some keto variation.

You seemed to put so much effort into this but somehow you got the diet and the numbers completely wrong. He ate 5oz of fish with a cup of veg twice per day. You calculate it at 1 cup of veg & 5oz of fish, but he ate 2 cup of veg and 10oz of fish.
@jenniferrenneckerrealtor79537 ай бұрын
🤔 Matthew McConaughey said he ate 5 oz. Of fish and a cup of veg. For lunch, and the same for dinner. Which equals 10 oz of fish 2 cups of vegetables per day. In this video, he literally did the same exact thing, 5 oz of fish 1 cup of vegetables at each setting...

What a weird diet lol. I've done Keto and low carb diets for years, but would never artificially restrict myself to those few ingredients for zero reason. Also headaches can be a sign of electrolyte imbalances, when you go into keto you generally need to supplement with sodium and potassium or make sure you're getting much larger doses in your food then you did on non-keto diets. The brocolli is a good idea there but probably not enough. Also, the wine, not a good idea either as anything sweet can trigger cravings. If you removed the wine and ate more real food (equivalent calories) like say an advocado and/or sugarless and nitrate free bacon, then you'd get something tasty for the first few days and the cravings would subside. Alcohol is terrible for the liver and doesn't belong as a staple in a healthy diet. I know you're not suggesting this is a "perfect diet", just leaving comments for others who might be reading and thinking of trying it; I wouldn't do it.

I think the concept is: drink as much wine as you want so hopefully you pass out and can't eat your regular meals. 🙂
@TaylorDzaman11 ай бұрын

That doesn't sound like a good diet. Tapioca pudding has a lot of sugar as wine is also. Check with your Dr.

Not really keto, too many carbs, not enough fat, and way too little calories, keto is not massive calorie restriction. The yolk is the most nutritious part of the egg!

The whites are high in protein but with basically no carbs, calories or fat... Perfect for weight loss.
