These artists did a fantastic job singing his iconic songs! They did them justice! He deserves every honor they could give him. The CMA Awards is on April 2 on CBS. Sadly Alan has been struggling with a genetic neurological disorder that makes it difficult for him to move around the stage and keep his balance while standing. He stood proud that night, God Bless Him!

Love Alan Jackson - I saw him early in his career in concert opening for Randy Travis - remember him singing "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow" and "Don't Rock the Jukebox" and thinking he's going to be a headliner soon. That was more than 30 years ago and still love his music!

I’m so happy they gave this award while he could still be there to accept it. I could tell it took a lot of effort for him to sing and talk. Yet I’ve never heard him complain. And yes it’s actually a shock to him to be where he is, but most of us knew he was headed there.

The first country CD I owned was an Alan Jackson CD back in the early 90's. What incredible talent. Sad to see his condition these days, but he will always be one of my favorites.

So wonderful to hear these artists representing some of Alan's most memorable songs. So sad to hear of his disease and it's debilitating effect on his prime of life. Thanks Craig for a sample of his excellence. Great reaction. Cheers from Canada.🇨🇦

Alan is amazing & every song he has made is just perfect. I love all these great artists doing his songs & love that they used the video of Alan in his jeans & boots water skiing in Chattahoochee. And country stars support each other & are genuine friends. They do many duets together both on records & just for live performance fun. And the audiences sing along with everyone else's performances & it is a beautiful thing to see. They know the words to one another's work, which I love. They were more sedate this time because of it being a special night for Alan.

I was waiting for your reaction when Alan actually got on stage to sing "Don't rock the jukebox", after you had wondered if he would, and your reaction was priceless. Lol One of my favorites he sings is actually an old gospel song..." I want to stroll over heaven with you" Watch the official video version. It has pictures of his family that have passed away now, and it was one of my Grandma and Papaw's favorite old gospel songs too, along with Sweet Beulah Land. If you ever get a chance to hear Alan sing it, be prepared to need tissues, especially with the old photos that are in the video.

You hit the nail on the head Craig. Country music is just one big family. ♥️ That is the fans and many of the artists anyway. The industry in Nashville sometimes sucks. Loved this tribute and so many of the stars performing and nominated, but the politics of wokeness is unfortunately alive and well in Music City. Thank God it never changed Alan. God bless AJ! 🎶♥️
