I picked up a 56 Hi Toe and it has become the go to club for everything under 100 yds. I love the feel and workability and personally the copper finish does it for me.

You need to find out how you actually are using the sole of the wedges in order to find the right design of sole. Then, you might have to be fitted when it comes to shafts. Not everyone is swinging alike. I think TM is doing a great job when it comes to wedges. Don’t forget to check earlier versions that now comes at surprisingly nice prices compared to new models

I would buy them but I’m uncertain about the raw face longevity! Lot of spin in the first month and you saw the decrease after that! Do you saw the decrease?

I have an MG3 for over a year now. Doesn't rust that much and haven't seen a drop in spin at all.

First two versions of these wedges were not very good. The MG3 were Taylormade’s first solid wedge but with the MG4 I think they really nailed it with these. Have had these wedges for a couple weeks now and have no complaints. They feel great and produce great spin. Looking down at them when addressing the ball they look very appealing also.

James, please do some more putter reviews around the mid price point. Everyone reviews the latest expensive putters and compared them to Scotties and that is great and enjoy watching, but for those of us of a budget around £200 there isn’t much out there!

How do they mark up the golf balls on full shots? Reason I ask is I will be practicing alot in my golf simulator and don't want battered golf balls hitting the screen after every wedge shot? Seen a couple reviews mentioning cutting up the golf ball after couple hits? Interested to know your long term use on this?

They look like great wedges, but club prices are getting on the ridiculous side, and I don't know how the manufacturers can justify it. Whilst I appreciate you have your R&D and new tooling costs, the actual cost of production is peanuts

Im gaming the s23 49 aw sim 2 54 aswell as the kirkland wedge set(52,56,60). Had the sim 2 49 aw previously. I find that the s23 is similar to the sim, yet seems to be more predictable. Considering getting another s23 sw, but like the forgivness of the sim2 54 sw because i rarly practice bunker shots and it seems to get me out of the bunkers ive gotten into.

Not if you can get a new MG3 on clearance for like $120, $180-190 or whatever for a new wedge THAT ISN'T FORGED is just insane. MG4 is better, but at the new price I wouldn't.

They don't really look like they rust (at least by MG3 doesnt) its just slightly darker than the finished areas.

That is kind of the whole point of a raw club 😂 The face is meant to corrode, rust/ corrosion gives more grip no matter how bad it gets.

All wedges are over-rated. I get new wedges every season for less than $20 a head at Value golf or Monark golf and they are just as good as any big name brands.
