Watching you, Rick and TxG. The big thing I've seen is everyone AVG spin rates dropped. And spin rates, while intrinsic to distance, for me, that helps control the ball and makes your deviations BETTER. I just got a new driver last year, so I need to wait at least another year but I'm definitely intrigued by this given the spin rates

Yes but combined with the better CG and weight distribution this seems to be a hack around the loss of deviations... at least that's what I'm also picking up from these videos

Another great review as always. I personally think nothing will ever look as good as the Sim 2. I think a Stealth course vlog is needed. The Stealth looks like the original Sim with a new face and a paint job. It’s tried and true though. Quite a few TM staffers kept it in their bag instead of the Sim 2. It’ll be interesting to see who plays the Stealth and who stays with the Sim/Sim 2.

If this is anything like a composite (carbon) softball bat, it's going to get HOTTER the longer you hit it. Sooooo, as good as it is, it could surpass the legal limits set by USGA. But, it's gonna be a hot one.

In some tests they say that with this driver we pay a lot of money for the off-center costs, it is a consistent club, but there is too large a gap between the centered and off-center shots, we are quickly out of control what do you think?

As far as the red and black go, my theory is it's to match Tiger Woods "Red and Black Sundays". At the PNC Championship , this driver matched his look PERFECTLY! With that said I agree with the other commenters, come on discount Sim 2 heads!!!

Great review.. as a mechanical engineer I have observed anything carbon will crack no matter what (mustang gt500 have carbon wheels for race track only, wonder why?) with heavy impact and continue impact. Hence you might not see it in 3 to 5 years on the face. However with 60 layers, some layers might get internally damage and you will gradually lose distance.. that’s why the new driver will perform the best.. not sure it will hold distance after 3-5 years. By then Taylormade expect you to buy another one 😝 good influencing

Question, Why 60 layers? Is just so next year it can be 55, the 50. £ years time after stealth 3 has been and gone we gat the launch of TMG the great new club with a graphene face saving another 4 grams meaning you will shave another 0.25 shots off your round and pay another £500 for the privilege. As you may have guessed I don't believe the hype from TM anymore. They need to stop the constant launches saying each time that they have come up with something new.
