A hundred years ago I worked for your competition on the sales side but got to work the range at a couple tournaments...everyone was cool but the tour truck guys were ALWAYS the most down to earth and welcoming. And there isn't a person in the company that knows more about the clubs. Not even the R&D guys understand the clubs in the wild like the tour truck guys, IMO.

The trailer was perfect the truck not so much. Switch to a Peterbilt 389 flat top with a 63 inch sleeper, 13 or 18 speed, and 8 inch dyno flex stacks on the side along with a 20" 12 gauge bumper. KZbin "semi casual" for reference. Cheers on the trailer tho!

How cool would it be if the tour truck showed up at a local public course and did some give aways to people that have taylormade clubs and got them some new stuff. I am only suggesting this if you come to my home public course and replace my bag that is all Taylormade!! hahahaha. But really that would be a cool video to see. Or take it to a driving range and hook some taylormade people with some new stuff. That video would be huge I believe.

I believe it goes in to certain accounts that specialize in tour product, obv there isn't much that goes into the marketplace and a lot of it is specific lofts or certain bounces so it's very bespoke.

I recently bought a set of p790, I did a fitting on just the 7 iron, the guys told me that I needed a lie 2 on this one. what do YOU think? Should I have 2 lie on every iron I have or should I check all the irons?

Check all the irons & I'm not sure what lie 2 is? Flat or Up? Defo check them all if you can and keep on them, that's what the games best do

No wonder clubs cost so much! They’re marked up over 30% of wholesale, but pros that are millionaires get everything for free, plus paid endorsement??? I would rather a pro choose to pay for their own clubs that they really want to play than get endorsed! As a former college golf coach, clubs are so overpriced and they are pressed for new models every year even though the clubs are less than a fraction better. Tiger still plays the specs of his old Mizuno MP-29/MP-14’s from the late 1990’s! Forged irons can’t get any better than Mizuno’s! Make pros pay for their own clubs and that’ll tell you what they prefer! Stop overcharging the general public for pros to get free unlimited equipment! Complete rip-off!!!

Trottie I'm a HUGE fan and will always support ya but I have to keep it real as well.......love this type of video of exclusive tour truck but if you seen one you've seen em all is how I feel.......lol iono why I was expecting something different. 1) I LOVE YOUR ANSWER 2) never panic about being direct, I like that about everyone on here. 3) Tricky to go much deeper given the time of year and sensitivity about new product dates & also some stuff has to be kept on the DL. For example the Spider X on tour had a new sole that was introduced at Honda a few years back to combat the shinny rapid greasy greens. Result was at address the change of the sole wouldn't slip on the surface yet the putter was still legal. You see things like that are cool but from an industry perspective I can't drop that at the time. I hear ya but it's all about the balance, trust me I get as close to that line as possible but to keep bringing it I gotta stay on the right side of it. There's other stuff and as it can be shared I'll share it but sometimes it just is what it is. Hope you still buzz from the different content and keep me posted on any of direction you'd like me to bounce.
