Just my random 2 cents about wedding rings… I upgraded mine twice by our 20 year anniversary and by 25 I had switched to a beautiful sterling silver Scottish band, so much more practical and doesn't compete with all the other rings that I wear..... but I never wore my diamond ring around the house or while cooking and chopping, pretty much only when I went out👍🏻

I used to wear it 24 seven because I loved my ring so much, especially the first one, until the setting loosened from me, banging it around too much doing every day tasks. I'm grateful I never lost the diamond, but I could have. After that I quit wearing it except when I went out.

Taylor, having gone through the experience of my wallet being stolen, I totally understand your being discombobulated and having to replace all your cards & identification. If you haven't done it, place a temporary freeze on your credit just in case. Finally, I loved the make-up artist & hair stylist. Before you said it in the video, I was like, 'Wow, she did a great job.' Great video!

Oh wow, sorry it happened to you Taylor. When I was in New York, I found 3 credit cards on the floor (in different instances ahah I don't look up much) and I always cut them in half and threw in my bin. I would have never dared to used them, even knowing that the owner would get the money back from the insurance.

Guess not everyone is honest 🥺Although wouldn’t they need your pins to actually use those cards? I know in Europe you can’t make a contactless payment above €25 without a pin 😅

@@TaniaEstes Oh wow, that sucks!!! You would think, right?! 😅 I thought it was a contactless thing leading to the spending spree! Where I live (Belgium), the only benefit to stealing a wallet would be for the physical cash but these days since we no longer carry much cash to begin with (everything is by card which requires pins), there isn't much point! The only immediate issues would be replacing our ID card (obligatory to carry on us from the age of 12 up) and driving license. Fraudulent activity here is more from thieves getting our banking info via online payments somehow. So paying online via a second party like Paypal is safer.

As a former New Yorker, unfortunately, getting your wallet stolen is par for the course. It definitely feels like a violation in addition to a complete hassle. Your hair and make-up really look lovely as well as th Valentine dress. IMHO I think you should wear something like this, more sophisticated for your rehearsal dinner rather than than the short, full, little girlie dress. As cute as it, you are entering a new phase of your life as a married woman. Save those girlie dresses for other fun times.
