Awesome video, the Aventura was on our radar also. We were downsizing from owning a Privilege 615 catamaran for the last 12 years, but something strange happened in our quest to find our next boat. We were invited to go to an RV show and were blown away by the diversity of the RV industry. Long story short, we bought a 24 foot Class C motorhome. Now we spend 6 months on the road and 6 months on the water in the Florida Keys. Our new boat is much smaller, but still fits our needs perfectly and it is a blast to sail, it's a 2020 Corsair 880 Sport Trimaran. We did a run from Key Largo to Key West a couple of weeks ago and reached speeds of 20.7 knts and maintained 16.3 to 17.7 knts. for most of the sail.....

I've done the same and flown into Paris then driven and taken the train to the south of france. Some of my best photos ever are in the countryside. The friends we stayed with in Cannes don't cook. Everything came from a trotteria or bakery. Loved that shot of the bakery where you got croissants. As far as the boats go I think if they all perform similarly I would go with the first one you showed on the video. Their design and decoration was on point.

Love the Nautitech Open catamarans. We are delivering a 40 across the Atlantic in May (have done deliveries on the same boat on the east coast/Bahamas). At first, I wasn't sold on the aft helm stations, but after sailing them, I would never go back to a.flybridge on a catamaran. Great video, thanks!

I remember how you agonized on your first solo sail of your first sailboat, sailing from New York City down to Florida with things falling apart, breaking and gradually demoralizing you, Taylor! We nearly bought a 39ft monohull 3 years ago, but because of covid it didn't happen, things happen for a reason! We finally bought a 37ft Prout catamaran, so glad we did. 3 cabins, we have a kingsize berth, Galley down, Chart table area, huge shower/head, loads of storage. Large, safe cockpit, back deck, great area up front, large roof for solar. We would never have had that much space on the monohull

I love you two and Odd Life Crafting and seeing these AMAZING multi hulls that until recent years I wouldn't have wanted to consider over a deep water mono hull . BUT W.O.W. World Of Wonder I have slowly been changing my once full set ways. 😊 With my aged less than once sure footed self making my way around a heeling.. heaving mono hull .. it may be time to try a different ride. ❤

The Windelo is one of the greenest boats out there in terms of materials and its a hybrid Electric drive also making it cheaper to live aboard. Its also light and can be had in a sport version a Adventure or Cruising one. The forward cockpit is much safer and easier for sailing in rough seas or extreem weather conditions. You dont have to don foul weather gear and you have warm dry feet even in heavy seas.. its also safer for moving around. If anyone has to go forward you can just step up and out and belay on without having to go out the back and along the sides day or night. Young or old they are safely in the boat at the center of movement and all the controls are as you pointed out are in there with you. You can open all the windows for through air flow in the tropics or just sailing on ordinary days. The one thing that i ponder is with the back down and open at anchor id want to rig a safety rail across for kids, drunks and dogs at risk of charging off the back 😂 especialy in the shark reserves or where theres crocks visiting.

I toured some of the big cats at Annapolis this fall and thing that struck me, other than the million euro price tag, was the fridges. My wife said hey that fridge is bigger than the one at our house! Truely a sailing condo, super comfy for sure.

Popping lines like that would be a concern to me. The Nautitech is nice I am sure the price is up there also. Carbon fiber hull if it breaks, they shatter that would be un-repairable, life-ending. After seeing what Parlay Revival work was done, would need to see the bulkheads of the total structure of the Nautitech and every other Cat you might decide on. Will it stand up to wave pounding and flexing? So do the homework before you guys drop the money. Say, Taylor I detect a certain GLOW there, could there be a little sailor on the way? Enjoy France.

Didn’t like the galley in the Nautitech 40. Going from the cooker to the fridge or just generally walking around I would be liable to fall down the stairs. Also noticed the washing machine attached to the wall in the shower so maybe the vessel doesn’t have the storage space. A nice 45-48 ft mono might be nice. 🙂

The Nautitech 44 was not as nice as the Aventura 37 in terms of finish. I think you should take the Aventura 37 for a test drive before you consider the Nautitech 40.

Is a 37ft Cat large enough for a live aboard? Pls be aware seeing a boat and living on a boat full time are 2 different things .. Maybe rent a 37ft cat for a month or so and see if it will not cause you to be come claustrophobic over time .. (also if you want to travel around the world .. is it large enough to feel safe?) Taylor I'm sure you are well aware of Cat's etc being with the past likes of Bobby, etc .. and the best location of helm positions during bad weather ..

The cats look modern, but how can you fix things when they quit functioning? That would need to be looked at carefully before buying them. Do they have a Lease Program? If they do then check it out. You folks plan on having kids, it would be nice to go on land for a while, just saying that's all.
