But I remember that she was telling she’s gonna work hard and come up with better albums (but Reputation is one of my favourite albums though). Yeah, look at her now with her 6 Grammy nominations. Taylor Swift is the music industry.

You shouldn’t make music to win grammys, you should make music for the passion and for the art of it.
@unniDBD4 жыл бұрын
@@Luke101 I don’t think she meant that way. I remember her telling that she can make as many hits as in 1989 but she never would work around same line of music again. Look at Reputation and Folklore, they both are different and distinctive. Only a true artist would do that. If she want charts, I am sure she can make many hits as in 1989. I love how his voice is of desperation like one last attempt to make her stay or to at least start to hate her when she actually leaves (“so step right out” as in fine leave then!) while her voice is of calmness like she had been thinking and experiencing this for so long that she knows there’s no way back and this is what must happen. A sort of detachment.😢😢😢

The dynamic of this duo is what gets me. It feels like a conversation but perhaps a miscommunication between a couple. Taylor’s character in this instance is calm and has accepted the situation, however Justin’s character is still fighting for something that isn’t there anymore. That’s what makes it so raw for me.

@graemeglass21074 жыл бұрын
Honestly, the progression of both Taylor and Justin Vernon as vocalists is an attribute that consistently impresses me. Vernon has often leaned on vocal manipulation and layering, but if you go back to his earliest work and compare it to his most recent releases, you hear how strong and confident he has become in that regard. Seeing Bon Iver live in 2019 I was honestly floored by the command he has over his voice.
