A lot of people think long distance dooms relationships but honestly in an ironic way it brought us so much closer together. Your video made me so emotional because I haven’t found my love yet. Though I’ve dated a guy for 4 years, I still do not know what love is and I am looking forward to feeling like the better version of myself when God finally sends the one... one whom I can be myself with and not worry about forgetting to include God in our relationship with. It seems like such a simple thing, but we all want love and to give and receive love. It sucks to have thought I’d be married to a guy, only to have my eyes opened to the fact that it’s just not Gods will and that I will simply not be happy with the person who was sent on my path and stayed on it for so long. It’s tough, but we have lots of lessons to learn from these things, which I’m thankful for.

I feel this. My fiancé and I have been doing long distance for 3 years, and I think we both knew from the very beginning that we were going to be married. I feel like we talked about it just months into our relationship, our life together and closing the distance for good. Now he is deployed in Afghanistan for the next 8ish months. It's hard, but after that we have 3 months until I graduate college and we can finally tie the knot and close the distance for good.

My dad is In the Military. 5th grade I moved to Florida, where i met the love of my life. 7th grade we moved back to NC, i had to leave him.. we video chat everyday and every night. We havent seen eavh other in 5 years.. So, if someone ever tells you "long distants never lasts" dont believe them. He's moving to NC in Decrmeber to be with me.
