I just started to learn how to juggle and from watching your videos it has helped with so far 5 catches. But every time it makes me happy if I don’t get them or if I get more because I’m having so much fun. Thanks for the videos. I had no idea about juggling tricks or with other props. First I still need to learn Cascade.

Hey Taylor! Just wanted to let you know that I feel very inspired by your channel and your videos. :) I found your channel a few days ago and I was immediately hooked by your skills and especially by the quality of your content! I'm also doing a lot of dexterity stuff and learned the basics of juggling a few years ago, but I never tried advanced tricks. So maybe I'm going to try that with your tutorials now :) I hope that you're feeling better soon. Greetings from Germany :)

Thanks so much for all your juggling video posts, Taylor, including this one. They've helped me advance along the juggling learning curve, both with technical advice and attitude. I now regard drops a lot more benignly than I used to, part of the process of getting better. [Edit to add:] Little 10 to 15 minute juggling breaks from the grind of chores and work lately have given me energy and helped me reduce stress. You've helped me enjoy juggling more by enabling me to progress with it, so in that sense you've helped me with my own anxiety during these difficult days. Thanks for that, Taylor!

It took me YEARS to finally start seeing a therapist. And since starting over a year ago, I’m a huge advocate of seeking help. Talking about depression and anxiety has a way of removing yourself from it. By identifying the issue, it’s easier to see that it’s an illness with symptoms. And the symptoms happen to be mood-related. Just like having a cold, it has symptoms that are often out of your control. And just like a cold, you can’t make it go away immediately. But it DOES go away, like you said.
@SuperDrumsforever2 жыл бұрын
You are a fantastic juggler. Much more advanced than me. I use positive self-talk while I juggle because I can't refute what I am saying while I am so busy juggling. It's like an active form of hypnosis.

Hey, sorry to hear you’re feeling down. I started juggling (well throwing things in the air and dropping them 😇) a few days ago but I’ve watched your 3 ball intro video loads of time because your happy, bubbly approach lifts my spirits EVERY time I feel a bit flat. Hope you’re on the way up again.

Wow, those are some impressive tricks! Thank you for not trying to hide your depression. I think this is helpful for oneself and others. And I believe you are very strong and wise. Sometimes life sucks. Simple as that. At least we can acknowledge that and make a difference by helping others. And of course everything is impermanent.

Thanks for posting about depression; gotta be a bit scary to put that out there. I agree that it's not talked about enough, and I appreciate your willingness to be open about it. On to the juggling... I really liked the kick up into four ball columns -- It was unexpected, because the foot holding the ball wasn't in frame, and I really like how the linear movement of the kickup plays with the columns. The four ball clay-motion-y thing tickled me as well. The 5 ball cross-arm cascade ... sooo purdy! (I don't know how much practice it took to get it that smooth, but I suspect that the similarity between the shape of a cascade and an infinity sign is pretty apt). Be excellent to yourself and juggle on!

I really admire your honesty, thank you! :) Here's what this Otter is trying for the first time: learning to play the Irish concertina! I grew up dancing with my sister to my mother's accordion, and as my first tune I'm learning „You are my sunshine“ to play for Mom, which we always used to sing together. Hoping some of that sunshine reaches you in LA! :) P.S. I'm learning to record video from you as well as juggling, so (with patience) I'll post videos of my concertina progress. I was inspired by your relating how you started posting juggling videos every day on Instagram and I think that might be good for me, too.

Love your videos and your openness about your depression. It’s great that you have a solid support structure in place. I have got back into juggling after a 30 year break. *for me, i need to do art (collage photography and writing poetry(ish) to deal with depression in a positive way...and at times even that is a struggle to produce anything that's not pure drivel related to my emotional status (or lack there of) at the time... music helps (raised on classical and opera (yes, opera) but typically prefer silence and solitude for the most part....of course i cannot adequately express to you how much i enjoy your juggling videos and the absolute joy you convey whilst doing what you and sharing it with others...Thank you Taylor*
