The Revlon styler works best the more dry your hair is. I air dry my hair and then I run the styler through it and it straightens and smooths my thick hair in about 15 mins.

Jewelzy Julz I agree. Hair needs to be air dried. Or you can quickly messy dry with a hair dryer. I have thick textured hair. This styler has been a game changer for me. I usually have to touch up with a flat iron toward the top of my head where the dryer doesn’t reach. I love this thing.

I have the smaller Revlon hot air styler with the interchangeable attachments and it takes me about 20 minutes to dry and flat iron the pieces around my face after i let my hair dry about 75% first. I have very thick curly hair afew inches past my shoulder. I've been using these kinds of stylers for a couple decades now because I'm very round brush challenged, I really love them.

Hi!!! I bought the Revlon blow dryer and I LOVE IT!!! I have VERY thick hair and I do not wear extensions. You can brush your hair from the root down and the fuzzies in the hair will go away. It will not burn your scalp. It is a little heavy but it does work great. The more you use it, the better you will get at it. I have tried so many blowers and irons and to be honest, I think I found it in this Revlon blower/hair brush.

I have a lot of hair, too. It does help to save time on additional styling and gives extra volume if used correctly near the roots. I wouldn’t pay full price. There’s also other smaller round drying brushes at Sally’s Beauty which are intriguing.

I have the older sister to this Revlon hair dryer. It is a paddle brush that dries your hair. I love it because I have long, thick hair and I can not juggle a brush and a hair dryer. With a normal hair dryer, I would have to keep stopping to brush out the wild tangles. I bet I would love this new styler.

I love that Revlon hairbrush - I have medium length thinning hair. My hair is shiny, voluminous, and looks fabulous. It’s legit 🙌🏼

I love my Revlon 2 in 1 Dryer like that. I have super thick wavy little longer than shoulder length hair. I let my hair dry about 75% before using it though. There’s a learning curve to getting the roots and short pieces. I get the dryer close to the roots and pull in the opposite direction to get the roots dry and it’s creates volume. I can dry my hair in 20 mins now. It’s saved me about an hour of drying and styling.

Today I had a pretty rough day and cried for over two hours because it seems like all my plans for my future that I've been building for the last 15 years have fallen apart in one day, but mindlessly watching beauty videos makes me feel better for the moment. I have been through much worse, so I will make it through this, too. I am just in a shock stage right now and all will work out, I know. I also recently started my own channel, if anyone has time or interest to say hi

I love ebates! I just bought the nyx Bare with me tinted moisturizer and a bronzer. So far, I like both, though the bronzer I have (I believe the darkest or second to darkest one) seems to have quite a bit of glitter!

I love that blow dryer! 😱 I have long thin hair but lots of it. I think the extra hair is what didn’t work. I get pretty close to the root and it cuts my dry down time in half another thing is I’m comparing it to blow drying with a brush since I want to style and dry at the same time so this isn’t the same as just blow drying. ☺️

I use CoverFX custom cover drops in whatever shade matches my level of tan at the time (I have a bunch of minis) blended in over my chest and shoulders. It blends down into a dry finish. And the sparkly versions are fun for nights out, I just used those in New Orleans.

Thanks for the review on the NYX tinted veil!! I have very similar skin to you and so I always look to your base product reviews, they're generally pretty accurate for my skin. I love the NYX BB Cream, it's honestly one of the best BB creams I've ever tried, so I'm excited to try the tinted veil!

The Revlon styler is great. I have thick hair too. I have found the trick is to either blow dry or air dry your hair to about 80% then finish with the styler. I don't have to flat iron after.

comb your strand once. Begin at the roots to dry your hair. Comb it in and let it sit there for like 5-10 sec, than curl the rest of the hair in the brush and wait again a few seconds. Like this it will dry faster! At the beginning I also had sore armes, but with the right technique it's way better.

I have really thick hair as well. Blow drying is my least favor thing bc of the thickness. I love that hair dryer. Saves me so much time. Just wish the handle was thinner and easier to hold. I do agree it’s harder to get to the roots.

Makeup revolution face and body spray. It’s new at ulta, there is a bronzed and just a shimmer version! I used the bronze version and it didn’t transfer and gave a fun glow/shimmer for summer. It was too much shimmer for my face but it is my new summer favorite.

Seriously. I am still working thru my bottle of Angel Veil. That's $16 ish too. NYX has pricy primers. Pixi is expensive too and never on sale. I never mind if things are in a jar like face creams and such, but a sticky primer in a jar? I'm thinking I wouldn't like that

I mostly air dry my hair and then go in with the Revlon tool to give lift at the root, style, and add shine.. I have thinner hair than you and no extensions, but long hair, and it is totally worth it for me. Air drying most of the way is the key for me to make this amazing.
